“Dearest, you look stunning as ever.” Loki sent a smile your way, his hands cuffed as he and Thor reached the meeting point.
Despite his heinous crimes, you still loved him dear—but he didn’t need to know that. He broke your heart and you weren’t one to give in easily. You rolled your eyes, sheathing your daggers.
“You’re still charming as ever, my prince.”
“Missed me, (Y/n)?” He continued to tease.
“Don’t I always?” You smirked. “Although, just because I miss you, doesn’t mean you won’t get a beating after your imprudent behaviour.”
The shuffle of footsteps that were heard made you all turn to Sif who had successfully gotten Jane out of her lovely prison.
“You’re...” Jane started.
“I’m Loki, You may have heard of me.” Out of the blue, the short brunette raised her hand and slapped the God of Mischief himself, surprising all four of you. Even if she was Thor’s girlfriend, the man you trusted with your life, you felt hot boiling anger at what she had done.
“That was for New York.”
You reached for one of your daggers, taking a step towards her. “And this is harming the love of my life—”
“—Alright, (Y/n).” Sif was quick enough to pull you back by the arms, struggling slightly at the amount of strength you possess.
Thor held Jane protectively, giving you a warning glance but not before checking the reaction from Loki who had a wide grin plastered on his face. “We shouldn’t waste time.”
As the guards began to make their way towards your group, Sif was left to fight them off to give you more time. You gave her a gentle smile before following after Thor and the others.
“So...” Loki said, walking faster beside you. “I’m still the love of your life?”
You smiled, leaning up to reach his face and left a chaste kiss on his cheek. “You may have broken my heart, Loki, but I’m the only one that can hurt you.”
