Amy looked at her T’hy’la. “We haven’t even gone through your customary ritual. No one on board knows yet. But you still want to claim the baby and name it?” She questioned with a small smile on her face.
The man looked down at his t’hy’las stomach, and lifted the tips of his fingers slightly from the stomach as they were sensitive. Feeling where the baby was, he looked up soon after. “I did not.”
"Yes. Our little girl." She nodded softly. "I know that she will be as smart as you are, as brave as I am, and eventually a member of a starfleet."
"If that is what she chooses," he added, watching her with what seemed to be an almost amusement. "She has good genes."
