Mera looked at the women who seemed to be a little lost in her head but she knew her longing for Arthur was hard to hide. Always one to play the role of Princess and now Queen. “I shall have work on that” She replies before turning to face the women “Atlantis, What about you?”

      “Atlantis?” She may not know much about Midgard, but she was pretty sure that wasn’t some well known place. Was it even on Midgard? “Asgard.” Or where she had recently been, Niffleheim. No need to share that yet unless they got onto the subject of places they ruled. Which was, of course, highly unlikely.

Sara grinned at Hela before making her way back towards the ship, she’d need to change her clothes before heading to their next destination. Hela would probably like where they were going more than this place.

      Hela followed, brushing her hands over her head to make her helmet disappear. Back was her long black hair, neatly tossed over her shoulder so it wouldn’t blow over her face. “Where are we going now?”

Mera had taken to looking for Arthur in some of the placed Bruce had helped her locate, The man was proving to be most helpful in her endeavor. Yet she couldn’t find him anywhere. Of course, she knew that meant Arthur didn’t want to be found.  She looked up at the women who’d call out to her “Someone important to me, yet I think he has ensured no one would find him” She replied. “ why?”

      Someone important? Sure she understood hunting someone down, but seeking someone out for other reasons? That was a foreign concept to her. “It’s clear as day on your face.” Hela merely answered before going on with another question. “Where are you from?”

      Having been new to this whole Midgardian thing herself a few months ago, Hela knew the tell-tales signs of another not belonging here. So upon seeing the ginger wander around, looking for something or someone, Hela couldn’t help but make her way over.        “What are you seeking?” She questioned, trying not to seem like she was also not one who didn’t belong here.

“Well, I can’t reveal all of my plans now can I” Sara grinned, watching as Hela killed the man who’d shot at her. “We should get out of here” the blonde told her, she didn’t want the Time Bureau to find out she was behind this, not yet. 

      Returning back to looking at Sara, Hela gestured with an arm for her to go on. “Ladies first, lead the way.” Plus, she didn’t know where Sara planned to go next- back to the ship? Further on on foot? This wasn’t the end, that was for sure.

“No, but it’ll also serve as a great distraction” if the Time Bureau were busy cleaning up this mess they couldn’t stop Sara from getting the Spear of Destiny before it was too late. “Well, he did shoot at you so if you want, have at it.”

      Oh? That interested the goddess. “Distraction for what?” She almost hummed, more than interested in whatever chaos Sara had planned. As for now, she summoned another blade in her hand and just tossed it right at the mortal who dared to try and shoot her.

His grin grew impossibly wide, and he bowed low and theatrically. “The one and only,” he said pointedly. She was trying to taunt him, but he just kept beaming at her. “It’s more than I can say for you,” he pointed out, giggling. “I mean, I’ve never heard of you. And technically, it lasted until my last breath,” he said with a hyena-like cackle. “Who needs to hold a city longer than that? I don’t want it – I just wanna stir things up. Paint the town crazy, ya know?”

      “You’re far too young to have heard of me,” Hela waved a hand, moving on with the subject at hand. “So you just invade and take over for the thrill of it? The fun?" Just to stir shit up- what a waste. If he put his mind to more practical things, he could be useful.

Sara made sure the people who tried to run didn’t get very far before making her way back towards Hela. “Oh, stop complaining, this is just warm up” the blonde grinned as she turned to face the person who’d fired the arrow, tilting her head as she looked at the man. “Well, someone’s brave… or stupid.”

      “You think I need a warm-up?” Hela sounded offended, but was more curious to what else Sara had planned. So, she didn’t protest further. As for now, to finish their so called warm-up..        “Shall I, or would you like the honours?”

Sara grinned as Hela drove her blade through a man’s chest, the blonde doing the same to the person closest to her. The villagers seemed to finally understand what was happening and started running, though they didn’t get very far as Sara threw knives at them.

      Not bothering to rip her sword back out-it was pretty well impaled-Hela merely summoned another one to take it’s place in her hand. “They are barely warriors, Sara.” The goddess spoke, not seeing any of the towns people picking up a weapon or anything to fight.        Before Sara could say anything, an arrow suddenly struck her. Of course it wasn’t strong enough to break Asgardian skin, but she still felt something hit the back of her head. The aim had been really good, proving that there was at least someone here who knew what they were doing.

      I haven’t been feeling the threads I’ve started back on black Friday, so I’m thinking of dropping some that haven’t moved on from that-       I still haven’t decided so I’m just going to leave them sit in my drafts but for the meantime, I’m open to starting new things!

Daisy raised a brow at the woman who she could swear she remembered, but she cared too little to put a name to her. “It’s called that because of how chaotic it is, I think. There’s a lot of violence and traffic because of it.”

      “Violence? Now that sounds interesting.” Hela turned towards the woman. “Where can I witness some of that?”

Jerome tilted his head to the side, still grinning. “I’m more in the business of destruction. Ruling implies… too much order for my taste,” he said, running his tongue along his teeth, chuckling at her. He raised a brow at the name. “Jerome,” he said simply. “Jerome Valeska, curse of Gotham, soon to be scourge of NYC. Nice to meet ya,” he said with a wink. 

      “Oh, you’re the one I heard about.” She laughed, he wasn’t anything like she pictured- then again, the Goddess did not know what normal people from Gotham were like. “Not too impressive, your hold on the city barely lasted a breath.”

      Looking over at him, she questioned. “And are you doing it? Taking part in these sales?”

Karolina smiled a little and nodded. “That’s true,” she said. “A lot of people use it to get Christmas shopping done, so at least they’re getting gifts for other people.” She shook her head. “No, it’s just this one, really. After this there’s Christmas and then New Year’s, but New Year’s is kind of its own thing.”

      “I can guess what New Years is..” Kind of says what it was in the title, didn’t it? “But what is this Christmas?” A gift giving holiday, something bigger than this ‘Black Friday’ if these mortals used this one for that!

“I don‘t know why it‘s called Black Friday, but black Friday, is about sales on stories, they decrease the prizes of things,“ he at least thought that they did, some people say that people fooled everyone, but increasing the prize after it and then on the day decreased it.

      “And people treat some big super sale as some sort of holiday madness? It’s insane.” And Odin questioned her rule! “Is this event widespread?”
