for most of my time online i've always lied about my true beliefs out of fear and that's why finally being on radqblr feels so freeing to me. when i was younger i was antiship despite reading incest fics in my room at night. i would pretend i was against xenogenders even though i hoarded them and had hundreds. i pretended to be antipara despite being one myself. so often ive felt like i have to hide my true thoughts in order to be safe and finally after all these years its clicked that i don't have to

slowly, for each of the things i mentioned above, i realized i just . . . don't care. problematic ship? don't care. xenogenders? don't care. contradictory labels? don't care. paraphile? don't care. transid? don't care. endo system? don't care. it genuinely does not affect me and i don't CAAARRREEEE DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY

i've also never really understood why people are against certain transids because it's somehow "mocking a disability" that they have. my cisBPD is severe and debilitating but i just cannot bring myself to care if someone is transBPD. it makes them happy and doesn't hurt me, so why does it matter? it's such a non-issue. the real discrimination i face as someone with BPD is the healthcare professionals who would automatically give up on me, the people who think i'm inherently abusive, the people who water down the meaning of the disorder, not someone who does their research and resonates with the term even if they don't show symptoms.

that and everyday people use transids without knowing!! i dyed my hair black when i was younger, i was transblackhair. it's so common but as soon as you attach the queerness to it people reject it, and it's so sad to me. it's just being against queer identities

also, SKINHEAD ≠ WHITE SUPREMACIST. my dad is a skinhead, i've grown up with the culture. racist skinheads are called BONEHEADS. skinhead culture began with working class youth in britain, and was later co-opted by white supremacists. look out for these things to determine if someone is a BONEHEAD, not a skinhead:

white, yellow, or red laces (different meanings among different bonehead groups)

ladder stitch laces (horizontal and straight across as opposed to crossing over)

the style often overlaps with skinhead style due to its origins, but pay attention to clothes and tattoos and it's pretty obvious if it's a skinhead or a bonehead.

∔ why i identify with transnazi!

i've been seeing a lot of cool posts from other radqueers and then discovering they are very strongly anti-transnazi, so i thought i would make a post explaining why i personally identify as transnazi. of course, this is my experience alone and it is not representative of every transnazi out there! it also discusses some personal stuff about my experience as someone with cisBPD, so be warned.

for starters, i am a marxist. i've been a marxist since i was (chrono)14. i am also gay, trans, and disabled. i am not, and have never been, antisemitic. i, too, would have been a victim of the nazis. above all else: MY IDENTITY IS NOT ENDORSEMENT IN ANY WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM. now that that's out of the way we can get into the real stuff.

my identity as a transnazi is not because i "want" to be a nazi, because i don't. i don't want to be hateful and feel that kind of anger, and i don't ever want my beliefs to be based around hurting someone else. my identity as a transnazi is based on my experience with BPD and autism. i often feel completely empty due to my BPD, especially because i'm so early in treatment, and i find it very hard to nail down who i am as a person besides some very basic things like "i'm a boy" (which is currently being debated) and "i like boys." my biggest autism symptom has also always been my special interests, since they completely consume my life and heavily inhibit my capability to perform in social situations.

the emptiness and the "i don't know who i am" combined with a pattern of all-consuming obsession means that my identity usually becomes almost entirely based around my special interest. i've done this since i was six years old and gravity falls was my whole personality, and it's carried on as i've gotten older. every thought i have is about my special interest, everything i say is about my special interest, everything i do is about my special interest, and so on. it fills in the parts of myself i don't know or understand.

normally, this is something fine like fishkeeping or bones or seals. however, as of march of last year, my special interest has been the third reich, and my habits regarding special interests and chronic BPD emptiness have remained exactly the same.

my identity as a transnazi is solely due to the connection between my autism and BPD. my special interest just happens to be nazis. when my special interest was homestuck (which i do not want to engage with anymore, please block if your blog is themed around it), i was transdavestrider and transknightoftime and anything related to the franchise because it consumed my identity. for me, transnazi is no different from transdavestrider; both come from trying to fill in my identity to match the thing i'm obsessed with in order to get a grasp on who i might be.

my transnazi id is also related to my fictionkin identity (johannes betzler/jojo from jojo rabbit) in the way that i identify as a DJ/HJ boy who was born and raised into the ideology without questioning and one who isn't truly hateful. the quote in my intro was chosen specifically for this reason. i'm not a nazi. i just want to understand who i am, and since im severely mentally ill it's hard to figure that out, let alone put it into words.

being transnazi is not always "wanting to be a nazi." in my case, it's the manifestation of a BPD symptom that i'm trying to mask. for some, it could be based around trauma. for others, it's because they're reclaiming the "nazi" label out of spite. to be transnazi and to be openly queer and disabled and radically accepting is the biggest mockery of the regime you could possibly make. transnazis are not ideological and do not support hate. if they do, then they aren't radqueer — simple as that.
