A RANDOM SCENE BECAUSE IT'S BEEN A WHILE WITHOUT MY POST ABOUT THEM.
(btw this sketch is so off model that if you want you can interpret as how Valentine draws Sadako).
Sadako and Valentine were laying together in the couch , Ettore was near them just polishing one of his swords, the room was silent as if they run out of subjects for a conversation. But it wasn't actually boring, just the rarest type of friendship where you can be comfortably quiet without worrying that the others are going to judge you. Sadako was using her usual pair of headphones, they looked big and expensive, Valentine was looking around the living room of her house twisting his finger around the cable of the headphones, thinking why she's using a cabled one instead of a wireless one, his head came up with a satisfying answer some minutes later so he decided to ignore it, but all that thinking made him wonder.
- Akko, why the hell you call yourself purple bat? I mean, it doesn't really look like a bat... It is kinda pointy but most bats have bigger ears, it's not that I'm judging your choice I'm really curious about your sequence of thoughts.
Ettore's lift his head up breaking his focus, he was kinda surprised he had the audacity of asking something like that, he knew Sadako long enough to understand how she could react negatively to that question. She grabbed her audio player and stopped the track, she tilted her head towards Valentine eyes and pulled down her headset, her eyes were full of disdain and a little bit of surprises, shocked by how he hasn't figured out yet.
- Hart. Look. At. My. Hair. - She pointed to her head in a rhythimical way, pausing a little with each word. He absorbed her words and thought carefully about her explanation.
- So... I'd be Brown Bat if I were you? It's not about the color, it's more about the animal, the design, I'm really asking what you were thinking. - He moved a little trying to avoid her spiky bracelets that were starting to feel a little uncomfortable. Ettore watched them and started to wonder if they get a little more stupid when they are together.
- But if you were me your hair would be purple silly. Oh you want to hear an explanation about that? You should've asked before! - She got more comfortable in his chest, putting her bracelets in an even more painful position to Valentine but she didn't care that much and he wasn't verbally complaining.
- I've always loved bats, I used them as inspiration for the echolocation systems inside my helmet because when I was younger I've read about it in some biology books, they were for kids so it wasn't really well explained... And I always tried to emulate that, I know it's embarrassing but trust me, a random kid screaming at 3 to 4 am at your house can be a little scary. Helis could sleep over it but the amount of times my genitor's men came to my room believing I was being kidnapped really stressed our family out. - There was a hint of sadness I her words, as if she knew those were her last "normal" years, deep down she was always sure her life would never be normal.
- And then the accident happened, some of the recreations of the scene really had me with the pointy things, like horns so I asked to do something similar when they build the bracelets. I've always suffered with the other kids prejudice but after that day? Their silence became louder than their offenses and that really made me comfortable? I don't know how to explain but it made me feel safe, in a twisted way... That's why I asked to make the suit the scariest they could, that answers your question? I'm not the flamboyant beacon of hope and walking target like you, I'm more of a scared girl trying to be the scariest thing in the room for her own safety, does that make sense?
Valentine was kinda shocked with the amount of trauma she dumped on him with such a little question. He didn't knew how to answer properly but wanted to reassure her that he was there for her, and that he wasn't going anywhere, his arms held her tightly and before he could say anything...
- Damn, I think I DEFINITELY shouldn't be here. - Ettore stood up and left almost falling over some of her furniture, carrying his swords in a desperate attempt to QUIETLY leave the room.
- Oh... - Sadako blushed a little and looked to her partner.
- I forgot he was there, well, I doubt he paid attention. - Valentine gave her a comfortable smile patting her back while she gazed to the corridor till she heard the door slamming. She knew he wouldn't do or say anything about that situation but it was weird to have someone else nearby in that moment.

Oh, thank you so much and I'm kinda surprised someone asked about it. I'll try my best to pick some good recommendations for you.
Comics are usually called confusing or too long for anyone to get into it, but it's actually not that hard, there's a bunch of new runs (that's how we call comics set in the same continuity and universe). Specially in DC and Marvel, but I really suggest that you don't stick to only these two. The world of comics is really diverse and we have tons of good indie comics/autoral projects. I usually use Brave + Read comics online to read most of the things. For all my Brazilian fellows we can use the MEC biblioteca to read some comics for Free, thanks Lula.
BONE
My first recommendation is a classic one, it's already finished and it's about the Bone family in their adventures after being banned from their City.
The Pedestrian
That's a newer one, it's how a good person starts to change people's lives through small actions. It's a heartwarming story about unity that gets weird really quickly and scallates to some elder gods of... Traffic signs, go read it it's a nice one.
Hellboy (Seed of Destruction).
He's one of my favorites heroes made by one of my favorites artists, look I love the art of Mike Mignola. Hellboy has some of the greatest comic runs, you can start by the seeds of destructions and keep going. He's really interesting, I love his dichotomy as a human and being a protector or as a Demon, a deity of mass destruction who's responsible for the apocalypse.
As for DC and Marvel because it would be really awful if I didn't recommend any of their stories.
DC.
New Frontier.
It's the best way to get into DC comics in general, it's a closed story but it'll show you the basics of the characters, the art is great, the story is really good.
Matt Fraction and Jorge Jiménez, Batman.
The newest Batman run, it's a good starting point, it's campy enough to be enjoyable and a modern take of the character. Easier to follow than the absolute universe, that is REALLY good but I think it's kinda complicated to follow it if you're not used to comics.
Superman for all seasons.
It's also a really good one, it's peak Superman in his essence.
WONDER WOMAN
For wonder woman I really suggest the legend of Wonder woman or Wonder Woman year One, these are modern interpretations of her origin and it's a good starting point for her story. (And also her problems as a character, because DC apparently can't write her).
Supergirl Woman of Tomorrow.
And why not Supergirl woman of tomorrow? It's probably her best story and it's going to serve as a base for the new movie.
Marvel
I'm picking more niche characters because of the MCU and also that for some reason they have easier to follow stories. I really don't know much about how to start with X-Men but I know how important they are for the whole Marvel universe, most of their stories are kinda hard to follow if you're new on the universe.
Miss Marvel No Normal.
Her first run and it feels like a really good story for someone who never read much comics, it's simple, really well written and a good story to start to know the Marvel universe.

Black Bolt (2017).
Really good to set the Inhumans as part of the Marvel universe with a really good mystery to hold the run together.
Moon Knight (2016).
A little more brutal than the others, this one is more about the mythos of the Moon Knight and the universe, I do recommend but it definitely needs a little more of context. This run also served a little as inspiration for the Marvel miniseries.
Ultimate Spider-Man.
This run was made for people who wanted to start reading the character, the whole ultimate universe was a new way to read the Marvel continuity. But it's not really that good as a whole, I really suggest you keep with only Spidey.
Hawkeye (2012)
This one is really a vibe, love the art style it's a nice representation of a character and way better than it deserved to be. Definitely a must read.
Anyway, you're open to choose anything you find interesting, there's a lot of characters with tons of different personalities, different dramas and power set. I hope it helped!

Some of y'all know that my story is a parody of super heroes and other super human related media. I'm curious about which are your favorite heroes. I'm trying to assemble some characters to make a parody of so it would be really interesting to hear some suggestions. That's because those comments are either bots or scams
If someone comments something similar on your comments, do not be frightened. It is a scam. Just ignore and move on.
Whenever I see posts warning about the newest tumblr scam going around I always reblog to make sure ya'll stay safe, but I can't always guarantee ya'll will see it, so rule of thumb is if someone not verified or official messages you with a chance of urgency, it's very likely a scam. Just ignore. If someone simply asks you to dm them if you're available for commissions seemingly out of nowhere, ALWAYS check their profile. If it's an empty profile with just a few reblogged arts, it's most probably a bot trying to scam artists. Ignore.
