Is there a trope or theme you've wanted to write a fanfic about, but you don't know how to approach it?

I've always wanted to write a soulmate trope but don't exactly know how to go about it. As in, kind of like that theme that soulmates will meet no matter what the universe throws at them.

So my initial idea was that there would be two people who would never meet. Someone far in the past and someone in the future.

The person in the past becomes immortal and the person in the future gains the ability to time travel. And the two meet across different time periods until the time traveler gets murdered (r.i.p) and the immortal never sees the time traveler person again until the immortal finds themself far into the future (after living a long time) and unexpectedly runs into the future person before they gained their time travel ability.

NARUTO panics. He knew you worked hard, but mannnn he doesn't like to see you work yourself to death! He's always admired you and how much work you put in. But when he sees you faint? Oh, it's all over. He's rushing over to you, grabbing a strong hold of you in his arms and is straight up acting like you are about to die.

One can bet Naruto is running straight to the hospital with you in his arms. If he can somewhat outrun a train, then he can definitely get you to the hospital as quickly as possible.

SAKURA puts her medical skills to use! Her lessons aren't yet complete from what she had learned from Tsunade, but she was confident that she could help you now.

No bleeding. No wounds.

She can easily determine that you fainted from over exertion and exhaustion.

Yeah, seeing you faint and fall in front of her was jarring. Numbing even. But that wouldn't stop her from helping you. She was stronger now. She knew you would be just fine under her care.

SASUKE stops for a moment. The scene made him freeze up. Seeing you fall wasn't something he was prepared for. A million thoughts crashed right into him.

Were you attacked and he didn't see it? Poisoned? Maybe you were ill and never told anyone-

With shaky hands, the moment he got to you and touched you a little sigh of relief had escaped him. You just fainted.

Sure, fainting was still worrying, but it was better than the other thoughts that raced around in his head. He took you to the hospital right then and there.

ROCK LEE, at first, thought you were messing around. Until... you didn't get up. Seeing at hoe you fainted, he would praise you for working so hard even though you couldn't hear him and that your hardwork was something to be admired.

But, he would also pet your hair, sit next to you, and tell you that you don't have to work so hard. That you two were a team. You both covered each other's weaknesses wherever the other fell short.

The next you wake up, you find yourself in bed. A cool washcloth on your forehead, water on your nightstand and note saying "get better soon" lying next to it.

NARUTO has always had a crush on you. Sure, there was that tiny little thing he had for Sakura at one point. But he likes to think he moved on from her. Especially when he started to go on more missions with you.

You never pushed him away, or turn your nose up at him, nor did you smack him around like Sakura tended to do when he got on her nerves or "being annoying" as Sakura liked to put it.

You weren't scary at all.

And learning you were an Uchiha didn't change his view at all. A last name doesn't matter in his eyes. Sure the eye thing is cool and all. And yeah, he'll definitely goad you into fighting with Sasuke to see who's Sharingan is better. But that didn't change anything with how he saw you as a person.

Because you treated him the same way. Even after you learned his secret too.

SAKURA was surprised to say the least. She thought she knew everything there was to know about you. Especially with how much you and her shared with one another.

She tried not to look too giddy at the prospect of another Uchiha being around but it was exciting. Of course she would poke and prod at you about your eyes and if you and Sasuke ever had those "clan" meetings together.

But whatever.

She took the news in stride. And even though she was a little more excited to ask you more questions about things. She still treated you like her friend while also hoping you don't see her obvious crush she had on you.

SASUKE always knew you were an Uchiha. And it wasn't like you kept it secret either. The two of you joined the academy at the same age and would walk home together as well.

So with everyone else learning you were an Uchiha was a pretty funny sight to see. Amusing, even.

Now, some would whisper at how he would obviously have a crush on her. Him and you were technically the last Uchihas after all. But little did everyone else know, he had long had a crush on you. Way before the massacre even. Not that anyone else had to know that.

And if you didn't feel the same way, then that was fine too. He wasn't going to hold the prospect of "restoring" the clan over your head just so he could have you. That would be stupid. Instead, he would love you quietly. Unless you showed the same signs of care and love towards him just as he had for you.

NEJI suspected you were an Uchiha for a long time. His point was proven when you activated your sharingan to win a fight against him. You came close of course, but still fell short.

Even though he would have preferred if you had shared this secret of yours with him in a different way, he was still grateful that he was the only one who knew. And even if it was selfish, he hoped you would only keep said secret with him alone.

Though, he wasn't going to stop you from sharing with someone else, of course. Caging the person he likes was the last thing he wanted to do.

ROCK LEE did not keep his secret of having a crush on you a secret just as you did not keep being an Uchiha from him a secret either. Your friendship was built on trust with one another and he hoped that one day that friendship could be something more.

But he knew that all good things come with patience. And he thought himself to be quite the patient guy. Besides, its not like that would stop him from vocalizing his feelings for you anyway.

I would say going out on jobs is worse. I absolutely hate traveling. And I greatly dislike carrying the equipment.

I had to carry heavy pelican cases up hill to a bus stop in order to get to a car rental place.

One case weighed 72 pounds, another weighed 60, and the third weighed like 40. 😩 it was utter hell for me.

So yeah, i would much rather do reports 😔

I havent worked on any of them 😭 ive been out of office all week going on jobs. So far I've been to Nebraska, Kansas, Texas, and then to Missouri. I just got home 😔
