Koga had stopped for the moment; only because he was getting kinda TIRED of trying to pull her off of him. Of course, that wouldn’t stop him from being brash or being loud. Even if he was tired he still didn’t want someone CLINGING to him.

Seeing this one alone was a little bit of a surprise, enough so that upon seeing him, Koga glanced around the surrounding area to be sure there wasn’t some person walking (or sleeping) somewhere near him.

But there was no one, it seemed.

Someone familiar; though only VAGUELY so. He was wearing the same uniform he was, so he had to at least be from Yumenosaki, right?

As he stood in front of the smaller boy, he squinted his eyes and tilted his head, trying to place WHO exactly this kid was. A first-year maybe? He LOOKED like a first-year, at least. Then again, so did that Ra*bits leader.

After a minute, maybe a little more, he gave up. Asking was probably easier.

He was bad at dealing with kids. That was already an established fact. Though, it wasn’t so much that he hated them more so than he just didn’t... want to TALK to them.

So, the moment this one walked up to him, Koga immediately put on as gruff an expression as he could manage, golden eyes narrowing and teeth bared as he spoke down to the small child.

One day he would get better at it. Talking to girls, that was.

It wasn’t something he particularly knew how to help. Maybe it was just his personality, or perhaps it was just his lack of experience with being around them, but he always seemed to get quite distracted.

Again, he found himself staring, unfocused and blank because this lady was... pretty. But he snapped himself back into line, not soon enough, though.

Kamui looks up at the approaching footsteps, red eyes meeting the source of the voice the second it speaks– and white eyebrows raise just slightly. A place to get something to eat..? Lips purse together for a minute before he offers a somewhat apologetic smile, “Actually, no.. I’m fairly new, so I’m not sure where much is as of yet..” it’s a meager excuse, but also entirely true..

Not to mention the way his own stomach was growling; should be proof enough that he’s got no idea where anything is. “I was trying to find somewhere myself, actually..”

Koga heaves a long and heavy sigh at the answer, silver brows furrowing above golden eyes as he took a quick glance around at the buildings around them. It was starting to annoy him now. How could it possibly be so hard to find FOOD in a city?!

❝ AHHH--!! What the hell’s wrong with this place!? What idiot made it so DAMN hard t’ find somewhere t’ eat ‘round here?!? I’ve been walkin’ around for a whole fuckin’ HOUR now!! ❞

The goat jumped at the sudden attention, hands running over the stubs of his horns and his ears. “Uhm, it happens more than you think, honest!” The prince spoke, self-consciously stroking an ear as one would their hair. He gave a nervous laugh. “I use really good shampoo.”

Koga stared for a moment more, though he was aware it might’ve been a little... RUDE to do so. He wasn’t sure what to make of this... person? Creature? It was talking, so it felt a bit mean to downgrade it to a normal creature.

❝ I-- uh. Don’ wanna be rude or nothin’ but... ❞ He paused a second, trying to think of a nicer way to ask, but eventually decided there really wasn’t one. ❝ What ARE you? ❞

And that sure wouldn’t change today, either. As soon as she spotted her classmate, she would sling her arms around his neck and press her face against his head.

“My my, look! It’s Koga-chan! Did you miss nee-chan, is that why you’re here?”

He produced a loud and irritated noise at the sudden skinship, hands bolting up and pulling on her sleeves an attempt to pry the arms off his neck.

It had started to feel less and less surprising, seeing all these other guys from his school here in this strange city. Not that he was complaining. Meeting his schoolmates was a lot less... unpredictable compared to meeting some of these people.

But when he approached the boy, he didn’t even notice him and he realized he was staring at something... somewhere. So he turned his head to look in the same direction, squinting his eyes as he looked out into the distance.

This was one of the first ones he’d encountered here; a person who was so obviously NOT of this era. Or ANY era, maybe? He wasn’t sure really. It was his first time seeing a person wearing so much ARMOR. That, and he couldn’t actually remember what sorta shit people WORE in other eras.

Not exactly the person Koga was hoping to run into. Definitely not. The loud, touchy-feely types never really resonated well with him. It wasn’t like he disliked or HATED them or anything of the like; he just wasn’t used to people getting so CLOSE to him.

Still, talking to someone he knew was better than someone he didn’t.
