The way you feel after you put that phone down is who you really are.
The first taste of iron you get is of your own blood.
Let’s take a moment to appreciate consciousness, perhaps the most ornate product of mundane entropy. The mystifying prospect that stark insipid conventionally lifeless inorganic matter when allowed to rub elbows for a few billion years or so coalesce into something that becomes capable of actively making conscious decisions meant to alter its surroundings.
At what point do seemingly replicable inorganic particulate collisions obtainable in petri dish jumps into the state of consciousness? When your eye rolls over something, a melody hits the anvil of your ears or when the senses douse themselves in the pacific warm embrace of your lover, billions of replicable chemicals detonate into simultaneous happening which somehow makes you…feel.
A dynamic conscience and the gift of free will is the altar of every creation that ever was or is to be. The ability, the sheer raw power that enables us to spawn something of meaning out of thin air is what identifies us, individually as people and in totality as an evolutionary success.
Contrary to the popular belief that certain men are destined to do great things.
We actually sit on the very tip of the katana..we sit on the fate's end. Our lives are a simple astute consequence of infinitesimal choices we make every single moment.
Nature puts its own check and balance of power, success when it makes cheap momentarily pleasing choices more lucrative.
Seizing your mind and arresting your choices need the strongest gut...everything else is easy lol.
Let's just take a moment to admire the girth of the raw sanguinary nature latently layered deep in human psyche.
On July 3rd , 1863 ..Picket's charge saw the culmination of the final battle of Gettysburg and henceforth paved way for the Union's victory in the American Civil war.
A war that remains to be the deadliest American engagement in history, fought between the northern and the southern states over a disagreement that whether blacks/people of colour should or shouldn't be allowed to be sold as slaves.
Yeah that was the question over which half a million died.
Take some time and let it sink.
Attainment of higher moral standings inevitably comes with a degree of humbleness and warmth.
A reasonably malleable socio-empathic prowess empowers you too see good in people and their opinions, hence saves you from unwarranted triggers and stress. You learn en massé even without them knowing it.
I personally in the end couldn't help but pity people who consider their viciousness or manipulative nature as a forte, all who are engaged in a bloody duel vying for premature recognition.
You are all just small men.
Jerome King said," If I were to go to the past, I need a storm hammer , cannister of paraffin and lights, to undo reality or maybe I just need tranquilisers."
Ellen Issac said," Strange as it may seem at first but our universe in an oversimplified way is an astutely applied number line.
Its natural cause is to tend endlessly on both ends..outward and inward alike. The unpopular among them is inward tending infinity..no matter how close you get two things..they can be still closer.
Let that sink in."
Alec Lucius said,” Forced show of wellness, prosperity and redundance is a prologue of poison, acknowledgement of frailty, testimonial of death and footnote to putrefaction.”
