Seeing how many leftist blogs that have always given me a bad feeling are rabidly pro Israel and vocally pro-genocide is……deeply unsurprising but still so discouraging.

Some of these blogs have actively targeted me and anyone else who’ve deigned to disagree with them over the years. It’s incredible to me how many westerners purport to be leftists but don’t seem to actually understand what leftism is about at all. They just like feeling intellectually superior to others and acting like bullies. But if anything was going to push them into showing their true colors it’s the genocide in Gaza.

The most ironic thing about Labor Day is that the wealthiest people with the easiest jobs get the day off while actual working class people still have to go to work and serve all the richies who get the day off.

If we actually appreciated labor every fast food restaurant in the country would be closed tomorrow, but instead it’s one of the busiest, most dreaded day of the year for service employees.

I know people have said this for years but I really don’t think anyone fully understands how central Tumblr has been to the development of ‘internet culture’ and ‘internet humor’. If, one day, this site ever does have to shut down I think it will be the end of the internet as we know it.

literally the only reason i got so into choices was BECAUSE i discovered the fandom. like before i had it on my phone for monthes and played occasionally, but finding the fandom made me want to play more books and gave me motivation to keep up with releasing chapters so i could talk to people about them! and now that whole appeal that drew me here in the first place is basically gone. wtf

This VIP early release is going to be the nail on the coffin for pb's online fandom. Part of the reason playing choices and talking about it was so fun was because we all got to play it and shit post together.

The same has never been true for VIP books because not everyone has access to them. No one really talks about the new chapter of a VIP book when it drops. It's going to definitely kill this already dying community.

I mean maybe this is just me but the baseline smutty romance books genuinely just don’t keep my attention? like it’s a fine horny fix but like they’re honestly so formulaic and boring that i can’t even pay attention while i’m trying to play them. Idk i’m really disappointed in Choices and the direction they’ve taken the app. Some of their older stories really helped me while I was struggling at college, the books were meaningful. Now it’s just bad writing and smut because I am not the demographic pixelberry has any desire to cater to anymore. It just kinda feels like a slap in the face? I genuinely loved this app at one point.

ok with the sequel confirmation post, I really do get that some "undeserved" books keep the lights on, but lmfao what are you saving up the money for ?? bc it sure looks like pb is farming the steamy romance and baby books for even more steamy romance and baby books 🗿
