Soooooooo many people think addiction is just for bad people who don’t deserve to recover and it’s just not true. Everyone deserves an end to suffering and I hate that Liam’s didn’t end before he died. Because people can get better. They can come through terrible times and have better lives. I’ll never understand this willingness to completely dismiss people or their humanity because of substance abuse. People are more than their addictions and I already see so many people distilling him down to this one piece of him when he was so much more than just any one thing.

The problem is, people still don't associate it to a disease. People that have drug addictions are sick. They don't have the autonomy to stop it like they would like to. Liam was clearly going through a bad phase, he was being hated on everywhere and he succumbed to his coping behavior. That's what saddens me, he left thinking he was hated

Poor Kate, can't stop thinking about her.

Yeah, I can't imagine what she's dealing with, internally. I hope that she is surrounded by people that actually care

I really hate that I’ve seen people act like Liam being an addict somehow makes it ok that his life ended the way it did. “Oh he was on drugs!” Ok, he was on drugs! Still didn’t deserve it. People don’t have to be perfect to deserve not to fall off a balcony to their death.

Those people probably defend shutting down all types of rehabs. Why waste time and money on someone that "was on drugs"? They clearly chose it so maybe it's better to put them down like animals.

It blows my mind how the world lacks empathy.

for me with always was questionable was the hotel calling and saying he was in a room with a balcony and they were worried he would do something and then they exact something happened. Seems like a weird coincidence and if they were so worried why the fuck did they leave him there alone? Surely they had security to stay with him until the ambulance came if they wanted to keep it out of the lobby?! It's so so sus and why did he have no money?

Absolutely! Why would you allow someone who clearly isn't in their right state of mind to be left alone at a room with a balcony? That was mentioned at the call so they clearly were aware that it could be fatal. Whatever is was that they did or didn't, it was wrong and they failed. He clearly needed help

I hate that people are blaming Liam for taking drugs. He clearly was surrounded by vultures

100%. Vultures that knew that Liam had his struggles. He didn't overdosed and he wasn't alone. Whoever left him alone or denied him the help that he needed is the one to blame. Blaming Liam is being oblivious.

God this Liam stuff is so confusing. So did Roger lie and try and push this escape story? Did he actually pass out and fall? And are they charging the hotel workers because they left him alone instead of keeping him in the lobby and calling the ambulance then? I am having a hard time keeping the facts together.

This morning, Chamber IV of the Criminal and Correctional Chamber resolved that the file investigating the death of Liam Payne, which occurred on October 16 at the CasaSur hotel in Palermo, remains in the court of investigation, in the hands of prosecutor Andrés Madrea, who charged businessman Rogelio Nores with the crime of abandonment of a person followed by death and supply of narcotics. This last accusation also reaches the waiter Braian Paiz and Ezequiel Pereyra, a hotel worker.

The prosecutor raises as a hypothesis a possible guilt of the hotel employees who assisted Liam in his final crisis, after Nores and the prostitutes left the CasaSur lobby. The employee who called 911 to announce the crisis that was exploding assured that Liam was in "a room with a balcony."

This, in the calculations of the investigators, could constitute a culpable homicide, investigated by the preliminary investigation. Why, then, didn't the CasaSur staff hold Payne in the lobby while waiting for the ambulance? Madrea assures that the case continues and new defendants may be held. Among them the hotel employees for homicide because they did not call 911 and took Liam back to his room.

Rogelio Nores tried to convince the authorities of his (ridiculous) escape theory but was dismissed because the forensics determined that Liam was unconscious. Thus, Madrea will move forward with the request for inquiry for Nores.
