@goldengrecha
This is how it went right.
Collection of memes I did with Arisugawa because this man haunts my mind ever since i touched DoomsDayDreams
I can't stop think about Arisugawa's bad ending
Because Natsume opens it with these words:
And at first I thought that its just about Arisugawa going blind. Which is pretty devastating already.
But then i thought about that the game makes a point about Arisugawa not being able to live independent life anymore... And not only it subverts his role (remember, this is the point of the story where Arisugawa returned to Kikuchi's to be their adult and guardian), but also takes these children from him at least in some way. Both of which ARE important to him this way or another.
It's sure is.
???? Are you proship??
I am a normal person who understands thought crimes are not real, fiction is not reality, and people can read/write/enjoy whatever they want as long as it’s fiction and no one in real life is harmed. I don’t have to like it, because I know how to mute, block and scroll past what I don’t want to see. Overall I think labels are childish, but by definition I am proship and profic. I am also against censorship.
And if you (general you) shame or harass real people over fiction, you’re a bully and this blog is not a safe place for you.
Imagine watching and supporting a show that canonically uses incest as a punchline with outstanding frequency (Kara/Jyushi kiss off screen “for fanservice” in the very first episode, Oso/Ichi kiss twice in S1EP14, Oso jumps and fondles Todomatsu dressed as a girl in S1EP22, S1EP16 in its entirety is just one huge IchiKara joke, Kara calls Todomatsu’s disembodied dick “cute” and “shy” in the Onsenmatsu special, Choro/Jyushi have an exchange in their drama CD which strongly suggests sex is about to happen and Choro even goes “can we do that” and Jyushi replies “yeah, as long as there’s no visuals nobody’ll get mad” - that’s not even all of it, just what I can immediately remember) and a marketing team that intentionally makes merch in a certain way so fangirls can buy their “preferred pairings” and several voice actors discussing shipping, including Sakurai inferring (albeit incorrectly) that Osomatsu has a “younger brother fetish” and still being like “uwu blmatsus kill your self’s 🔪 🔪 🔪 🔪 “. Like… I completely understand why you feel the way you do and I’m not here to change your mind about this kind of shipping. What confuses me is the fact that you finished this show and actively participate in its fandom. If you’re so very violently against any and all incest shipping, how did you not drop the show at the Ichimatsu Incident point? How did you not have that moment of “well, this doesn’t sit right with me, I need to disengage” when you heard about just how heavy-handed the Choro/Jyushi Drama CD was? This show isn’t just an innocent, clean slice-of-life comedy about some brothers like OsoKun was. It’s very much an edgy adult comedy that likes to be offensive and push boundaries and has often been compared to South Park (did you know Japan has a surprisingly large SP fandom?). There are no “problematic” or “unproblematic” people here. You watched a show which had a scene where a man was anally impaled by a horse and dragged around by its cock. Trying to get on your moral high-horse (lol) and deliniate who the “good people” and “bad people” are just makes you look like an enormous clown.
Karamatsu Matsuno really just the guy ever.
He appears confident and in love with himself to the point of it being ridiculous (he also pretends like he has billions of fans and fan clubs), he speaks on English randomly because Its Cool, he wears shirts with his face plastered on it AND sparkly blue jeans. he also plays guitar and sings. He is ridiculous and cringe and a freaking shame and embarassment but also you go king slay. He is cringe but he is free.
But it also a thing that gets him getting forgotten or straight up ignoren in a lot of situations, and later on he even uses this forcedly sometimes for people to get off him.
But he also self-conscious and love-starved at some point to became the most unhinged people pleaser ever to exist, and what's makes it better, is that he eventually DOES heal from this and stands up for himself when he needs to. And he can be a rude guy but he chooses not to, prefering more gentler and non-conflict options if its possible.
He also cares a lot about his position in family and that he is the second oldest and he tries to supprt and help his brothers, but to his only older brother? Absolute complete 180. The movie reveals that he is one of brothers that were SHATTERED by how sextuplets grow more distant from each other to the point of hating being siblings in a first place.
He is slut. He is babygirl. He is poor little meow meow. Grown ass man. Love him a lot. Karamatsu Matsuno never change.
I've always been a bit confused as to why the stolen turnabout is so highly regarded? Ron and Desiree are fun, yeah, and I really liked Adrian's return and Godot's quips, but the actual mystery was kind of nothing with no delving into details. The second trial didn't surprise me at all, and there were so few witnesses that it just felt like arguing with Luke Atmey Simulator the whole time. He's just another kind of flamboyant culprit, I don't know what everyone sees in him..? I dont hate the case by any stretch, but maybe it's just me, or I've seen people ranking it pretty high...
.
yapping incoming sorry op this take reminded me that i wanted to talk about this one in public /j /nm imo thats the point of the stolen turnabout actually. sometimes you need bright and silly cases to take a break from how the rest of the game might feel heavy with its overall plot. like if were talking about aa3 the only two cases that do not make me wanna curl up on the floor from all the plot-related shit its throwing at me are 3-2 and 3-3 AND EVEN THOSE CAN TELL YOU SOMETHING IF YOU LOOK CLOSE ENOUGH. its my favorite topic actually to analyze how cases from pwaa trilogy are related to the main prosecutor of the game (aa3 in this case). all of the other aa3 cases are obviously related to godot but the stolen turnabout relates to them not only by simply introducing them and their (yet) unexplaned hatred towards phoenix -- its also relates to godot with the whole premise of a bunch of people hiding behind the mask for one reason or another. and ron is more relatable in this perspective actually because hes doing all of this bcause he *thinks* it would help him and his wife and their happy life together. he knows hes doing bad but he feels like theres no other way until he (with encouragement) faces desiree himself and they talk it out. something something 'a family man who cared too much' ss the judge said. sounds familiar?
i think thats one of the things that people might like about the stolen turnabout. but thats just me deep diving because of my special interest. if we look at this case just briefly then again -- its SUPPOSED to be this stupid. its a very poor stageplay with luke atmey being the main theater kid of the cast. its funny and refreshing in its easiness which makes this case easy to remember even with its weak parts (i also hate cross examining atmey this bitch exhausts me sometimes).

to me they’re already crabs in a bucket so a beach day is only fitting
I recently started to rewatch Osomatsu-san with my dad and now every time I start to doubt myself i basically turn into this
got distracted and for a second i thought that this expression might be not be godot just gritting their teeth but them trying to hold SOME kind of resemblance of a smile because a lawyer is someone who smiles no matter how bad it gets am i right (+ the artistic recreation of what im trying to say)
ALSO @goldengrecha pointed out that gregory does the same thing on his shocked sprite
and she ALSO pointed out that gregory was living by this rule. them smiling lawyers.
although considering this precious piece of gregorys concept art im convinced its true /j
a sudden osomatsu-san hyperfix hit both my daughter and me so it made me remember my fujoshi frog wife (feat my stupid frog husband)
clothes swap because they look sick
well in the end. though, i guess, // to your withering brain it’s all the same
not gonna say anything about the whole song but these particular lines stuck with me while doing some gem attorney related thing. them cousins am i right.
