Middle Ground, absolutely not.

CGEU, maybe one or two background characters. Either way, they’re all immortal.

Out of all the cgeu characters, who would win in a fist fight? Powers are allowed.

Honestly XD. I have no way to explain anyone else winning. Kailee has the power, but she has never used it for anything other than levitation and basic mechanics. She’s also extremely physically weak because of her dependence on it. Astra is strong physically, but not mentally. The second anyone starts to hit her with something that goes to her head, it’s over for her. The ranks below XD are all much less powerful in general, but a couple (Jericho and Kismet) could get a few hits in. XD uses his powers for crafting machines and harming mortals emotionally, so the tactics could be the same for fighting his coworkers. Honestly, he has most definitely given a few of them nightmares when things aren’t going his way.

Who is YOUR personal least favorite cgeu character?

Honestly, I really hate Zara. She has her rank almost entirely because of Kismet, and I’ve been seeing some people compare her to Velvette from Hazbin (one of my least favorites from that show) so it’s like a double blow.

But yeah, she’s snobby, doesn’t deserve her placement, and never shows any seriousness in anything. She’s a great opposite for most of the top 8, but I feel like she doesn’t fit too well.

If you could rewrite anything about your superhero book, what would you change? (Please tell me transfem Rambeau is canon)

If you think Rambeau is trans, go for it!! I don’t mind hearing and sharing ideas about my characters, even if I didn’t originally write them that way :) But if I could change anything, I’d honestly mess with so much. Instead of just saying I’d remake the whole book, I’d most specifically redo the convention; chapter 5. I feel like I missed out on so many important opportunities for the event and just didn’t draw out as much as I’d like to now. Was it a fundraiser? Who hosted it? I didn’t put any of that in there. For overall changes, here’s some that I can pinpoint off the top of my head. - I would need so much more Onyx content, we don’t really care about him enough. - I’ll be so honest that I forgot about Coach Kara very quickly and never brought her back. I’m both okay and not okay with that. She’s not very important but I love her too much. - I never explained Ambroz’s whole story and that makes me mad - The ending doesn’t satisfy me; and it never will. I played with so many options and I couldn’t land on one that made me happy. I got antsy and just chose the one that my readers liked most. Even when I first got the publishing, I wanted to redo the whole page. I know that no one wants to hear that, but I really had no reasons to choose the other options except for sequel probability. I’m not gonna do that to my audience.

I mean with someone like him, it’s impossible for me to pick a name that’s so human. Like imagine this eldritch horror and his friends call him Dustin. I’ve definitely thought about (when I decide on one) that I’ll just keep it a secret and let fans make one up for him. Maybe you guys would have a better name than mine.

Be warned though, I’d definitely make a fanfic with the real name and not tell you all. So keep on the lookout I guess. (Also I’m so serious this is my official cast list that only I look at, I’ve got nothing)

Halloween coming early this year lmao Kailee, Astra and Kat would all be super dedicated to making costumes that also look super pretty. I’m thinking glammed out PPGs, Harley Quinn, that kind of stuff. Lots of eye makeup on those three. Cicle, Pandas and Cassius are definitely the kind that just go along with whatever their partner is doing. You’re gonna be Batman? I guess I’ll be the Joker. That or they’d do a huge group costume like a bunch of bodyguards or something. Soro and XD don’t care for the holiday at all. Maybe they’d hand out candy, but that’s the most they’ll participate. Both would go to an office party or two in the lowest definition of “costume” they could get away with. Raine would try to join an entertainment group and scare the shit out of others.

I see that Kristen (MG) and Ambroz both have a little gem earring, what is that?

Oooo finally someone noticed it In most cases, I make sure to include the earrings in every drawing of Ambroz, Phil, and/or Kristen. I definitely have forgotten it occasionally. They’re all emeralds, but in the diamond (shape not gem) shape. Ambroz has a red one, Kristen has white, Phil has green. They’re from the founding of Elysian, basically an opening celebration gift. Kristen bought them and handed them over after the first day. They all still wear them as an homage to their roots, even if they all hate each other. So yeah it has a special purpose lmao. I’m glad you saw it.

Okay ik im a MM fan BUT calling back to Supers, what are everyones cannon identities?

If you’re asking about secret identities, that one’s all in the book (and I have a chart somewhere) But if you’re asking about gender and sexuality, I’ve got you. The only ones that have canon sexualities are Phil and Kristen, which are straight and bi respectively. I wanted to make sure every character apart from those two were up to interpretation as much as possible so I could allow shippers and fans to take whatever they’d like and shape it.

I do have personal opinions on what they could be, but they’re not canon and shouldn’t be taken that way. I just love fandom culture and definitely have some ideas. Bi: Wilbur, Ambroz, Rambeau, Magnolia, Tommy Gay: Toby, Cara Trans/Nb (in some shape or form): Rambeau, Toby

Heard this question so I wanna answer it: Kailee is almost completely incapable of walking for more than five minutes. Since she floats pretty much 24/7, her legs are always just hanging in the air. Imagine your limbs being asleep for multiple decades.

It definitely hurts when she steps on the ground, but she tries to do so at least twice a week to make sure she’s at least capable of walking in the event that she loses that ability during a rank-down. If that ever happened, she’d definitely need some sort of training for the first year or so.

Anyways I saw a fanfic and really liked it, I’m honestly surprised I’ve already reached that status lmao. But yeah I think Kailee would have a lot of trouble getting anywhere in a mortal form without practice beforehand.

To be so honest I wanted to kill Rambeau during that final fight. I was going to have him bleed out in that alleyway and Toby’s Aprise was supposed to call 911 and then his mom. I mostly didn’t want to write a funeral scene but I also didn’t like the idea of him haunting the last few chapters. I mean, what a bummer ending is that?

My second idea was to have Rambeau find out Tommy’s identity while he was at the house. I wrote a scene where he sifted through the papers and called the number attached to V’s application. The landline would have rung and Rambeau would freak out wondering if it was Tommy or Toby.

I totally wanted to try out this challenge, and it definitely made me think about the differences between characters.

Soro and Cicle both having early animation influence while the others all have to base themselves off of their history and amount of practice was super fun to play with. I totally see XD as someone that draws himself just to make sure he remains calm.

When you die or “get fired” in this world, you get sent back to the mortal realm during the Final Clock Timeline. Since they aren’t used to needing food, water, or have any way to prove their identity, they normally last about 4 days before dying as a mortal as well.

Okay genq about the book, how come XD is lowkey more mysterious than ZD when ZD is a higher rank? Like why would he be so mysterious when the rank above him is so much more open? Whats the point?

Hi! So XD is purposely a lot more mysterious than Kailee simply because he thinks that mystery=power. If they know all of your secrets, there’s nothing stopping the lower ranks from using them against you. Since he’s very “unpredictable” in that sense, he’s able to keep control and his status. Dreams and Nightmares isn’t a difficult or impactful role for mortals. But the way he handles it and dedicates himself to work is how he keeps that high rank.
