Oh. Was that jealousy? Goedele had seen that look on his face before, pretty much any time he saw her around another man. Especially if she was smiling and having a good time. Most of the time she chose to ignore it, chalking it up to his Spanish blood and desire to have what was unobtainable.

Still, it took her by surprise. The Belgian takes her phone back to conceal the lingerie photos she had yet to post. Honestly all the page had on it was her most basic information and the lie that she was twenty five. 

“Did we have plans? I don’t remember. I had a lot to drink last night.” That’s how she finally got the nerve up to install the app to begin with. Maybe she craved attention. Maybe it was boredom. Whatever the reason, she loops her arms around his neck with a small grin. “DO you want to go out? Like officially…?” Better than a blind date, really.

Like a hard bitter pill he struggled swallow down the initial drag of dissatisfaction. From dominating much of her attention he had fallen into a passing burst of needed attention and romance for the Belgian. While it’s more healthy, less tense, and more balanced Antonio still caught himself wishing for a pinch more of her fleeting attention. Although, with that came more room for error. The Spaniard found himself stuck between his greed and desire to keep the pleasant; too much of Toni would push any sane person away. He was no fool. Even he could sift through a fog of desire and see his affect on others when one is pressed with too much.

And yet, he was getting lost in her eyes. For a woman once so fed up and full of his his dominance to the point of escaping it surprised him. Surely, he should let her have space and continue but it was like chewing nails to do so. 

And so, his heart fluttered, his face warmed, and before he could even consider saying anything in rejection Antonio had let happiness loosen his features into a face of delight. He suddenly felt very agreeable. “Yes, I’d love to treat you this Valentines. Leave dinner to me. Promise?”

Awkward.

“Oh it’s a dating app! I heard it was a hook-up application for the phone so I thought it would be fun to look at. Men tend to compliment you! From what I heard, anyway.”

Casually shows him her phone, then to the photos she took of herself looking cute, adorable, and in lingerie.

“I got some basics down, like hobbies, pix of some food I made, and what I was looking for.” Casual, going out to eat, cooking for them, love of cats and shopping. All that jazz.

Antonio plucked the phone right from her unsuspecting hand. Now with the prize in his hands Antonio looked over the app with squint at the bright screen. Trying to make sense of the small font that challenged his eyes. 

He shouldn’t be jealous, and yet, he was practically painted green in envys’ pathetic hues of all kind. It was no shock Bel had wanted such attention. It was disappointing she hadn’t search for the touch of another in him. The mere thought of his Bel in the arms another soured and pinched his features in a moments weakness before fixing back into a smile.

“I thought we were going to do something this valentines??”

Are there any long and delicious fruit? Maybe one of those funny shaped watermelons, or perhaps a papaya? You could be my little star-fruit, but those do not actually taste like much so I feel the comparison sucks. 

“I’d say you’re being pretty damn corrosive right now.” He whined against Rainers rowdy mannerisms and yet not a single attempt of escape. Oh, the wonderful affects a complimenting the crude Prussian. 

“Suppose you’re right. I need something sour and sweet!” He rolled on the balls of his heel; leaning all his weight on the other sweetly. A palm cupping the others face in a guiding motion till they faced each other. 

The distance began to close between, tauntingly close. Ridding of the distance Antonio dragged a sloppy and slick lick across Rainers cheek and then some.
