After the texts with Nick, Austin drove to his place. It wasn’t too far from where he lived so in ten minutes or less he was on his door step. He rang the bell but no one answered, so he decided to walk inside. The blonde male wandered through the halls, but there was no sign of the curled hair man he was looking for. Soon it clicked, he knew where to go, and he should have gone straight there. Soon, his eyes found the familiar figure. “I knew I’d find you here. Looks like some things never change.” @joncs​

vanessa: don't know if i'd consider us friends after everything that went down between us. i'm pretty sure a friend would've taken the time to clear up a cheating rumor, after being with someone for nearly a decade.

austin: it is not and you know it. or you should after a decade with me

austin: V, hear me out, we were both hotheaded, it was not the time to discuss it. i'd say i did not cheat on you and you'd not believe it. so i thought we should clear up the rumor after giving you space

okay— but you understand me. most people tell me how crazy i am for watching these sorts of things, but i find them so fucking cool? i feel like it’s crazy to think we are the only beings out there. there has to be more out there aside from humans. oh fuck. if i opened my eyes and saw a rake staring back at me i’d fucking bail so quick. those things are nasty, so that’s a big no for me. now that i know you are on board with the idea, i might take you up on this offer. we could go live on insta and the whole world can witness our dumbest idea ever.

I say they’re crazy for not watching them. It’s cool and it’s a great distraction when you need to disconnect from everything and not have to think. I feel like there are many out there but perhaps they hide from people that they actually like these things because they know they’ll be labeled as creeps. Sounds fun, we can definitely do that. Be aware that they’ll label us as weirdos or something.

Ohh, come on! You don’t need that. Milo’s a lovely guy and he’d love dog treats for sure, but I bet you’ll have plenty of options as to what to do on Valentine's. You could honestly choose whoever you want and ask them out. Or you could take yourself out? There’s so much you can do.

its been a little while since hailey has made the drive to austin’s place. far too long, some might say. a lot of people probably would have told her not to bother, but after austin gave her the go ahead via text, the femme was on her way. she’s almost too aware of how much time has passed and she feels badly that so much of her life the last few years was more about trying to be the perfect spouse and less about maintaining friendships with those she cared about. but now she was trying to make it right, and hopefully that was the important part. the pair of them were close and hails would hate to lose him, he’d been a constant in her life despite some of the craziness and that wasn’t something she wanted to take for granted.

getting out of the car when she arrived, the model grabbed the oversized bottle of champagne from her passenger seat and made her way to the door. after knocking, she took a step back to wait for him to answer, butterflies forming in her stomach because it had been a while since she had seen him and she was unsure what to expect. when the door is pulled open, hails makes sure the bottle of champagne is properly displayed in front of her, “huge congratulations are in order.” @goneaustin

Austin was surprised when Hailey texted him asking to come over, he hadn’t seen his friend in what felt like forever. Lately, she has been through so much, so he could understand them being apart, even though he misses her like crazy. There were many moments that he felt like calling her to meet or just to tell her about all the things that have been happening in his life, but he always ended up giving up on this idea whenever he thought that he could maybe cause her trouble with her spouse. 

“Coming!” The blonde yelled when he heard the knocks on the door, making his way to it to open it. He couldn’t hide the wide grin on his lips to see her, and with a bottle of champagne in front of her. “God, thank you so much, Hails. I did not expect this, but I appreciate it. I appreciate you,” He said before wrapping his arms around her in a tight smile before letting go of her. “Come in. Let’s pop the champagne.”

Thanks.” She thanked the blonde male and took the box.” Do you want to come in for some water or wine?” She asked. 

Austin pressed his lips together in an awkward smile when hers dropped. It was clearly weird to be at her door after everything that have happened, but he needed to return her things. “Yeah, found them in a box. I don’t know why how they ended up there,” He explained, putting his hands in his pockets before looking at her. “How have you been, Kaia?” The blonde asked. “You sure? I don’t wanna bother you.”

I gotta say that I’m a wine type of guy most time. I do love bourbon too, mostly to enjoy when I’m on my own at home, but besides beer, wine is what I drink the most on different occasions, most times when I’m with someone else. So, am I allowed to be your friend or not?
