I can't comment much on the topic of Abortion in-game. It's just something we don't want to engage with. +As both cults in town (Yes tbh even the Temple is a cult), worship life and giving birth no one in town would even be willing nor able to perform it. (Yes I know this can easily be written off as just the writers being puritanical but there are just some topics we don't want in the game. It's not a pure sandbox, it's not just a life-sim. There are gonna be endings, permanent consequences, etc in the game. I think people have a right to choose what topics, fetishes, etc, they wanna engage with, and especially CREATE with as Developers, Writers, etc.)

Yeahhhh, I don't buy it. Not one second. Not when they've said shit like "the consequences of sex". Not when they refuse to add drinking while pregnant and miscarriages. Not when the morning-after pill is being confused with written to work like the abortion pill. Not when they literally won't even allow it in mods. They will allow mods to add miscarriage under certain circumstances. "No one in town would be willing nor able-" Back-alley abortions. I mean, come on. With all the criminal activity in town, a mayor implied to make snuff films, a headmaster who sexually abuses students and is implied to make CSEM, an orphanage that serves as a front for human trafficking, and the whole underground brothel, you're telling me that not a single person would be doing it? If it's really about "cOnSeQuEnCeS", then why are miscarriages such a big no-no? In fucking Rapechestershire, where PC is constantly being thrown around, beaten and raped, and passing out from stress sometimes multiple times in one night, shit that would absolutely have a negative impact on a pregnancy including miscarriage. What about letting PC drink alcohol and take other substances? Why couldn't PC try to induce a miscarriage that way? Why couldn't PC decide to take the risk and "whatever happens, happens"? Why is abortion not even something PC could think about? Why is PC perfectly fine with a pregnancy that came from rape? Why is PC just as happy to visit their child who is a product of rape?

Doesn't sound like it's about consequences at all, it's just completely refusing to give PC or the player a choice. Oh, remind me why they refuse to add somnophilia again?

I prefer Eden as female because not only is that what I got in my first few playthroughs but also there’s a moment where they lament having a muscular body and seem weirdly ashamed of it. This doesn’t really make sense if Eden’s a guy but if she’s a woman? Of course she feels ashamed for not adhering to feminine standards and that plays into Eden feeling disconnected from society and why she broke off from it in the first place! She wants to live life on her own terms but the trauma of being ostracized still hurts. If Eden’s a man it’s just not as deep.
