It been hell seeing what this virus does to people it's disgusting, and now it been smelling really bad here like vomit and rotting corpse, I try to stand up I been so dizzy from the lack of food and water we have and I just go check in with the others, Norris is fine just been sitting in the corner, his way more skinnier and his really pale and his losing some of his hair, “Norris.. you're not looking the best, buddy” he probably has the virus or maybe just going crazy like all of us, he didn't really say anything just looked at me with bloodshot eyes, I got out Norris’s room and closed the door “what the f#ck is wrong with him, I have never seen him this sickly before” I walked to Palmer's room, I walk through the hallway and get to his room and open the door, Palmer is fine just smoking like he always does “yo, MacReady you need some?” He offers it to me “no, I'm good I don't smoke” Palmer rolled his eyes and took a hit “your missing out you really need some, it's hell out here”
I walk out of Palmer's room, now Blair I hate checking on blair, he been vomiting everything and I'm kind of surprised I didn't heard him vomit yet, as I walked to his room I heard him vomit, this time he was in a lot of pain, I go to Blair's room and walk in “*gag* Mac-MacReady is that you? *Gag*” he looks up at me, he looks really sickly too like Norris, he haven't had sleep for weeks from how sick he is, a little skinny but not as skinny as Norris, “MacReady, I just wanna die, I don't wanna be here anymore” Blair started to sob uncontrollably with some small gags “doesn't everybody wanna die?, i don't wanna be in this hell anymore-”, “F#CKING KILL ME, MACREADY!!” Blair screamed tears running down his face and he got up and chased after me,I got out at time slamming the door in his face my heart is beating fast and my head hurts, I get up off the floor and walk to Clark's room my heart is beating faster and faster and I walk more slower, I get to his room and open the door and Clark is laying on the floor his eyes wide open with no smile on his face “you up, Clark?” I walk up to him and shake him, he grabbed my arm “DON'T F#CKING TOUCH ME!!” Clark pushed me away “okay, okay calm down Clark!!” I walk away from him and slowly get out of his room, I close the door and take a deep breath and walk to my room, I get in my room and lay in my bed.

One of the headcanons for Clarkmac also it’s mostly what I think about when it comes to them.
While there’s a monster out there assimilating and driving everyone insane, trapped in a predicament and helplessness, they both still haven’t forgotten the days they shared together.
Was what just happened real, Mac has carried a constant sense of guilt ever since. He knows that thing messed with everyone’s minds but did Clark really have to hurt him just because of what, and left this question for Mac alone while he himself faded away forever.
