Your True Emotions Bring You Into The Flow
Welcome to today's Goodcats advice! *^^* It's an advice not only for artists, but for everybody!
Being in the Flow is always connected to feel and express the emotions you feel at this very moment. There are no good nor bad emotions, all emotions have the power to heal and make you feel better when you find a fine way to express them and give them room to be. Well, Goodcat's wouln't recommend to get into a catfight everytime when you feel anger, (catfights can sometimes be relieving though...).
Did you know that the most awesome pictures and music and pieces of artwork were born out of a strong emotion? Often it was anger, sadness or also crazyness or feeling hurt! In society we get to belive the misconception that joy, happiness and love are good emotions and anger, fear, sadness are bad ones which we better hide... This is just not true nor helpful for the creative process!
When you are in contact with your true emotions, when you allow them to be expressed, when you allow yourself to cry when you feel sad, to hiss and growl when you feel anger, to shake when you feel fear you will soon notice that your emotions start to change. They transform themselves into higher ones. After sadness comes stillness, knowing and then trust and joy will follow. Even the universe supports you when you express your real self of the moment. Pia always gets visits of various animals when she feels sad and allows the emotion to flow through her, and this inspires her to the most awesome paintings. :)
Express your feelings, let them flow into your art and your honesty with yourself will heal yourself and the ones who get in contact with!
