I who is used to criticize celebrities, I who doesn't like any of them, I who is maybe jealous, will I finally like, with surprise, this very controversial actor, Gerard Depardieu ?
It's probably useless to present him but Gérard Depardieu is a 69 years old French actor.
Famous from the 70's with the movie "Les Valseuses", he has acted in movies of prestigious French directors such as François Truffaut and Jean-Luc Godard. He's very good in the films of authors as in the popular comedies. He has starred in a few Hollywood movies like "L'homme au masque de fer", for example.
In short he has played in more than 200 films and is the second French actor to have accumulated the most entries in France, behind Louis de Funès.
He won several awards including two Cesar for Best Actor and an Oscar nomination.
He's an excellent actor, surely one of the best French and few people can claim the opposite.
As far as private life is concerned, Gerard Depardieu is less exemplary. He has no less than 5 relationships with different women between 1970 and 2005, some of them at the same time.
He's the father of actors Guillaume and Julie Depardieu and two other less famous children.
We will say that privacy doesn't concern us and we can't judge a celebrity with that informations but it will allow us to make a softer transition between this nice article start and the more delicate end.
Before, we can also highlight the fact that Gerard Depardieu really love life,as evidenced by the documentary "A pleine dent" broadcast on arte, and sometimes celebrities don't show that, so it's a good point for him !

Actress, director, mistress of ceremony, singer, Melanie Laurent really has all the talents. We can still wonder if this is a whim of a spoiled child or a real talent in all registers.
Mélanie Laurent is a very famous actress, director and French singer. She is now 35 and already has a very long career. She is notably known to have played in the movies "Inglorious Basterds" directed by Quentin Tarentino, "Insaisissable" by Louis Leterrier and "je vais bien, ne t'en fais pas" by Philippe Lioret for which she received the Cesar for best woman hope in 2007. We were talking about talent and as far as her job of actress is concerned, we can't say that she is bad even if she isn't still appreciated by everyone.
Starting in 2008, she began to make short films. Engaged to the defense of the environment, she co-directed with Cyril Dion the documentary film "Demain" which won the Cesar for the best documentary film in 2016. Again, we can't say that Melanie Laurent is a bad director although I'm not a fan of her latest movie "Plongée" with Gilles Lelouche in 2017.
She has received more than a dozen awards throughout her career which makes her a person recognized as competent in the field of cinema.
As for her singing talent, I am more skeptical. It was in 2011 that Mélanie Laurent decided, probably as a result of overconfidence and ego, to release an album, "En attendant" which, despite much advertising, will sell only 7200 copies.

Vincent Bolloré : Is he as bad as we would like to believe ?
Vincent Bolloré, what a great project to tackle the French media king without any fear for his safety. But we can ask ourselves if Bolloré is so bad that we would like to believe it?
Vincent Bolloré is a very well known French businessman. He is well know for his important activity in the media. He's at the head of the Vivendi group and was at the head of the Canal + group until recently.
A longer biography of this man is important to understand this character.
His fortune is estimated at 7.3 billion euros, making him the tenth French fortune.
He was appointed in 1975, at only 23 years old, as director junior of the Rothschild financial company, which is allied with the Bolloré family. Already, he has the typical path of someone who has succeeded in business thanks to his parents.
His family is at the origin of a large international group, mainly in the transport sector, since 1861.
His career is worthy of this kind of businessman. He began managing some business of his family and it's in 2000 that he began his involvement in the media, something that interests us the most.
Vivendi acquires the Havas group, which produces advertising, documentaries and TV shows but also newspapers like Direct Matin.
In 2012 he became the majority shareholder of the Vivendi group, he became one of the most powerful men in France at the same time.
In September 2015 he became the head of the group Canal Plus to redress the finances of the channel. A very good idea since Canal Plus was at a loss, it was necessary to do something to save the group. Finally, at the heart of many polemics, he will succeed in destroying what we called "Canal Plus spirit" while the number of subscriptions always drops.

Virginie Efira is a belgian actress who has taken part in several notable French films. Before being an actress she started as a TV host in Belgium and then in France in 2003 after being spotted by the M6 television channel.
It’s in 2006 that she becomes more and more famous by replacing Benjamin Castaldi for the original French program "La nouvelle star". In 2008 she signed for the group Canal + and in 2010 she declared in Paris Match that she want to stop her TV host function.
This is the first part of Virginie Efira's biography and we will analyze it together to try to determine if the first female celebrity analyzed on this blog is Good or Bad.
Firstly, it's very important to note that Virginie Efira is Belgian. I love Belgians people, they are nice, simple, so less complex than the French. I would be tempted to stop this article now and say that, because of its Belgian origin, Virginia Efira can only be a Good Celebrity. Unfortunately it would be too easy and I wouldnt have a good grade in my English evaluation while I clearly merit an average of 20/20 (will understand who wants).
The second part of this first part (😮) of the biography teaches us two things. On the one hand Virginie Efira was the host of the television show "La nouvelle star" and this show looks like reality TV. For me the host of reality shows are necessarily Bad celebrity, but in this case, Virginie Efira was young. It's hard to blame someone, early in their career, for doing bad things. Moreover, if we think about it, she replaced Benjamin Castaldi and that's a good thing !
On the second hand we learn that she did interviews in Paris Match (people press) while the best celebrities are often the most discreet. Speaking of Paris Match, let's quickly talk about the private life of Efira.
Virginie Efira has been involved in short-term relationships since 2000. She met this year, Patrick Ridermont, they get married in 2002 and separate in 2005.

Yann Moix is an important personality of the French television. Either we love it or we hate him. He is well know for his performances in Laurent Ruquier's Saturday night TV show "On n'est pas couché".
Writer, director and now, TV columnist, Yann Moix is my target of the day.
Before being a columnist on French television, Yann Moix was a well-known writer and director. He was born in 1968 in Nevers.
In 1996 he published his first novel "Jubilation vers le ciel", which won the prestigious Goncourt award of the first novel.
After this success, he wrote many books.
It was in 2004 that his career turned a corner. He made his first film "Podium", adaptation of his own novel, with as main actor the great Benoit Poelvoorde.
This first film was a big success with five nominations to Cesar.
In 2009, Yann Moix made a second film "Cineman" which, in opposition to the previous one, is a real failure. It's sometimes considered as the worst French comedy of all time.
Since then, he is often present on television.
In 2015, he was recruited by Laurent Ruquier as a columnist on the program "On n'est pas couché".
For this analysis we will mainly use the theory of "controversy".

Yann Moix has all the rights against a politician who got only 0.3% of the vote for the election of the right wing candidate for the 2017 french presidential elections.
So, According to the theory of "controversy", with a ratio of one bad polemic out of five, Yann Moix is a Good Celebrity !

I researched, on the web, the participation of Jean Dujardin for charities. All the greatest celebrities use their image for a good cause.The least we can say is that Jean Dujardin is discreet for that.
We can note a participation in a gala to raise money for the association "des Cantines scolaires du Sahel" in 2014 and some visits to villages for underprivileged children of the association "mouvement pour les villages d'enfants".
We can possibly say that, humbly, he prefers to give to charities discreetly not to give the impression that he would do that only to give himself a good image.

All this is troubling but unfortunately it's not enough to prove if Jean Dujardin is Good or Bad.

During this beautiful month of March 2018, the Tumblr platform saw the birth of a new blog, on its website, that achieve unanimity .
This blog is the blog "Good Celebrity / Bad Celebrity".
The blog defines itself as "the biggest investigative blog to date".
The concept is simple, every article published will deal with the case of a famous public figure of the audiovisual world, and the purpose of the investigation will be to determine whether this celebrity is a good person or someone bad.
To carry out these investigations, the great team of journalist of the blog will look for evidence in audiovisual archives, interviews or simply on the many available biographies of these celebrities.
For example, according to the so-called "of the indignity" law, if the article brings several video excerpts or interviews where TV host Arthur explains that he doesn't earn enough money in France because of taxes, it’s why he prefers to benefit of Belgian tax gain, we can deduce that this TV host is a bad celebrity.
On the other hand if the article shows that Stromae preferred to stop his career to write songs for others artists because he loves people, then we can say that it's a good celebrity.
