When Dick and Donna were teens they`d had I want to know how to kiss and you are my guinea pig kind of friendship. When they grew older they`d had I don`t wanna show you my girlfriend because you`ll totally steal her kind of friendship.

And in Titans main timeline they have You can call me at 3 am or come suddenly to my door and I`ll be there for you kind.

Well... In Russian Titans' fandom most popular pairing — it's Dick/Rachel. I think Donna is a bit late for this kind of fun.

I think, I wanna talk a little more about Dami&Emiko soulmate AU, how I imagine it (maybe one day I write something on this plotbunny, but not now).

So that should be a universe, where every earthling has their soulmate`s name on their arm. Sometimes soulmates become lovers, sometimes best friends, that`s depend on their own decition. Both ways are okay. Soulmate are not your best love choise that`s only the person who will always understand how you feel, because you are like two sides of the coin, no more, no less.

First time Damian and Emiko meet each other they just feel themself perfectly whole, like they are in the right place on the right time. According to the similarities of their stories that makes sence. Two or three years later they start dating because they are soulmates and that`s obviouce choise for them. That`s the easiest way. They understand each other and that`s the main point in their relationships. They are not about love or passion. They just accept each other with every dark corner of their souls, with every dangerouse and corrupt desire (they are couple that can torture people together or have rough threesome with someone nice and innocent or something like that).

But once they become older, things changes.They start to understand, that their relationships stops them from becoming better people. Their fixation on each other make it difficult to find their own interests and their own lifestyles. So they decide to let each other be.They are still very close. They are still friends in their own I`ll kill you if you do something wrong way. They still feel each other (they are still soulmates after all). But now they have their own lifes. Damian leaves Teen Titans for being his own hero, and Emiko becomes team lider. Damian spend time with his family (both sides fo his family). Emiko goes with Dinah on The Black Canary tour. Damian thinks about army contract for three years or so. Emiko comes back to SF and starts self-defence courses for girls. Damian returns to his classic theatre things. Emiko try to learn skating. When they say in public about their break up, that become main new for a month or so (because they were King and Queen of high society and public loved them). Apparently, they both find new partners. Emiko is the first. She has always had things for powerfull beings which can control her or force her into something and once on TT training session Emiko and Crush, they just have sparring and things happen (Crush is totally Emiko type and as half kzarnian she has no soulmate, so that`s really easy for Emiko to fall into her).

Unlike her, Damian don`t talk about his love life, but he obviously has relationships with someone who don`t have soulmark. That may be half alien (like Jon or Mar`i) or half demon (Rae, yep) or someone inhuman (magi or amazon or athlantean) or magic creature like Djinn, who knows.
