My pals at work have planned really nice things for my last day tomorrow but now they’ve decided to keep me on and I don’t have the heart to tell them that I am, in fact, never leaving.
I definitely do it myself about myself but I find it kinda awks when people take the piss out of people who use Vapes/E-Cigs like really sorry I’m trying really hard to curb and addiction that is slowly ruining me. God forbid I look a bit silly whilst doing so.
Don’t ever read an article about how hipsters have destroyed the dining experience whilst masturbating. You will stop being able to scroll and get stuck staring at a tumbler glass of lamb chops and potatoes at the exact wrong moment.

Today I had to go to ridiculously extreme lengths just to get hold of the medication I need to function and I’m still nauseous from withdrawal BUT I found out that I work with the best people ever (I mean I already knew that but)
I hadn’t told anybody at work about my mental health or the fact that I take meds for anxiety. Today I started uncontrollably sobbing after another failed attempt to see a doctor at the walk-in. Jacqui, the literary associate, put me in an empty dressing room, got me a cup of tea and a mindfulness Youtube track, went upstairs, found my nearest GP, printed out a registration form, filled it in with my details then sent me to the doctors. I got a load of super sweet texts from my boss and the Associate producer and everyone’s actually pushing me to take more time off than I need, despite the fact that everyone is swamped and there’s no way I can actually take that time off. Also I ended up having to get on a train and go to my GP in Durham and my dad picked me up, made sure I got seen, took me back to the station, gave me some money and didn’t once say anything about how this was my fault for not having registered in Leeds.
SO YEAH. Crap day, great people.
I got angry on social media about the shoddy attitude toward mental health within the health system itself and my dad texted me to let me know it wasn’t wise to publicise my mental health issues.

An LA Times study found that Academy Award voters are 94% Caucasian, 77% male and have a median age of 62. Men make up 90% of five branches from cinematography to writing, and of the 43 board governors, only six are women. It makes me wonder, if more young people were members of the Academy, might the Oscar nominations change?

New Years Eve kinda sucks when all your pals work in bars and your ideal night involves more horizontal than vertical movement (ey ey genuinely mean napping don’t be rude)

Last night at the staff christmas party I got absolutely wankered and fell through a door and fucked my ankle and then I had sex with Tom from marketing. Good work on the whole ‘stay professional and sophisticated in front of your colleagues’ front.
