Imagine Combeferre being a total science fiction fan. 

Watching all 50 year’s worth of episodes of Doctor Who, because he’s a total completionist and wants to see them all

Loving Star Trek as a kid, and admiring the hell out of Bones.

Not explicitly saying so, but knowing that Bones had a definite impact on his desire to become a doctor.

Being secretly pleased when Courfeyrac compared Combeferre to Bones while they were watching Star Trek one night. (and silently agreeing when Courfeyrac compares Enjolras to Spock)
