   He watched her out of the corner of his eye, walking closer to him. One of his best friends in the entire universe was back, and yet he couldn’t help but feel a bit sad. But he couldn’t think of why he was upset…he needed to be happy. Or at least push the upset part of himself away for now. Smiling once again, he clapped his hands together. “Chocolate it is! Or caramel. Or both, we could get both. I might get peppermint. Those are always interesting, because sometimes they actually leave little chunks of peppermint in the drink. Very nice when they do that.” He laughed. But then he made a face. “That still sounds weird.” He couldn’t even think of Amy as his mother-in-law. But he still laughed at it none the less. “Family milkshake time. We should make it a thing.” he grinned.

Amy was glad that she was finally with her Doctor again. Ten years of him, on and off. Best ten years of the Scottish girls life. "Maybe both in one milkshake. I think that is an interesting flavour but it will be brilliant." She smiled with a wide chuckle and she clapped along with him. "That sounds like a really good flavour, I might steal a sip." Amy loved being around the Doctor, acting crazy, being herself. "It does sound weird, even if it is true. Oh well. I can be best friend with you, I was your friend before I had River... that is crazy in itself. And yes we should, family milkshakes." She smiled wide.

Clara stopped wandering off and looked at the girl from head to toe, she looked happy, worried but happy. “Good. Well, have you met the Weeping Angels?”

Stumbling backwards as Clara mentioned the Weeping Angels she forced herself behind the couch. "Don't mention them, please don't Clara. I can't think about them." She spoke as she hugged her body. "That's why me and Rory are away from the Doctor, They took us." But then she breathed in and smiled. "Why are you asking?"

"I really didn’t mean to worry you guys I just…I heard about something interesting going on downtown and I wanted to go see if I could find out what was going on! I was going to call Is wear it just kinda…slipped my mind. Is Dad really that worried?"

Amy looked at her daughter and kissed her forehead softly. "I know, but at least take me with you next time. Your father and I have seen so much in our lives that we know how horrible this world can me. Your father doesn't want to lose you. We love you. He is always worried about you."

   He nodded, not exactly satisfied with the answer, but he was too tired to press it. Oh, that was new. Tired. He was tired. He had never been really tried before, not in his own sense. But when one is dying…well, you tend to do a lot more than one’s body can take. He listened to her, typing coordinates into the console, pausing after a bit. Then he stood up, walking close to her and placing a hand on her shoulder. He didn’t know what to say. She looked so sad, and nothing he could think of could make any of it any better. So he just stared, solemnly and quietly, right into her eyes. If his expression could say anything, it would be that he was there. And he would be there for as long as he could. But then he turned away with a clap of his hands, as if nothing was wrong. That was his usual method. Nothing was wrong, so don’t act like it is. “First stop, milkshakes.” he said, pulling on the main lever an sending the TARDIS into action.

Amy knew the Doctor was weakening and tired so she walked close to help him with anything he needed, still knowing she wasn't going to be allowed to fly the TARDIS, only he and her daughter were allowed. She smiled at him, he was always kind to her, the Doctor was her best friend forever. There was no bad blood between the two beings. She loved him and he loved her. "Well I can't wait for the milkshakes. Chocolate and Caramel sounds heavenly at the moment." She imagined the taste and twirled around, trying to bring some more light and laughter into her Doctor's face and heart. She just wanted to make sure he knew he was loved. The Pond's cared for the Doctor. "So milkshakes with the son in law huh?" She chuckled as she ruffled her Raggedy Man's hair.

Tonight moving into Tuesday is supposed to be pretty fucking bad, you guys. The US hasn’t seen temperatures like this in decades (with windchills some places are looking at being -30°F or -40°F) and a lot of snow is going to be falling on top of everything else. When you add this to high winds conditions are going to be just plain dangerous.

PLEASE STAY SAFE.

This is some seriously heavy shit. There are all kinds of things that you can do to stay warm. Bundle up. This isn’t really a time to skimp out on heating your house. If you are worried about your pipes freezing, allow your faucets to drip a tiny bit at all times. If you have heat tape, plug it in. But most of all. Please don’t drive in these conditions. A lot of places have already put driving bans in place and I can’t stress enough that they are there for a reason. 

Stay warm, everyone. Stay safe. Also please spread this around so that people understand just how serious things are going to be. Some places may experience power outages and that is terrifying with these conditions. Tell your friends. Be informed. Pay attention to what your local stations are saying.
