The center spread from my personal anthology, L3no2: Made For Meltdown, ink and watercolor printed in two colors on the Good Pals Printing risograph. The printing on this one turned out exactly how I wanted! You can click the pictures for a higher resolution if you like.

Creating these helped me work through some things I continue to struggle with, and I’m proud of them.  I can’t wait for GPP and me to dream up the next edition - and to make my next issue too!

Since I recently posted the first half of my 2012 comic All Rumors Are True, I’ve been sifting through all my old sketches and roughs from when my project was still coming together at the Center for Cartoon Studies.  And since y’all are getting close to unlocking the ~*~scandalous second half~*~ of my comic (keep reblogging it, ya cuties), I thought I’d lead y’all on a lil tour of how the cover got made.

Hello dear readers,

I’ve set up a new blog, for my sketches and abandoned comics pages. I thought it would be neat to show some of my process/embarrassing work, too. You can see this work and more on Andrewsketches.tumblr.com (at your own peril). 

Also, I encourage anyone who is interested in comics to consider applying to Frank Santoro’s comics correspondence course. I am still finishing work for the course (sorry I am so behind!), but the course really reinvigorated my love for drawing and writing. It is challenging, but so rewarding. Please consider it!

Also, one of my older comics is now on Vice! The only way I could articulate my love for those games was in this disturbing cartoon. I hope you enjoy it!
