Poor Choices
Just in case ya missed it/just to have it all in one spot. We're going to be ultimately crashing all the parties at Purchase. And by that, we might just hang out. Actually no party crashing, just hanging out. Anyway, heres the deal(s)-
Sunday: Sweet Nothings Radio Show-6pm (info/event page)
Monday: At Whitsons (the Stood)-8pm with Fat History Month and more (event page)
(flyer by Rachel Gordon)
REPOST, FOOLS!
Good Weak on Sweet Nothings Radio
This week on Sweet Nothings Radio we’ll be interviewing Good Weak! I’ve mentioned them briefly on the site a couple months back, but in case you forgot, Good Weak is a post-punk band from Monroe NY. They’re gearing up to play a great show October 8th with Fat History Month , which will be their first show at Purchase College. Be sure to tune in at 6pm this Sunday 10/7/12!
BELIEVE THE HYPE, BRO. Or not. Not much to hype. Anyway, tune in if ya can. It'd be cool if ya did.
PURCHY-PURCH

3RD TIMES A CHARM
Fun show at Bard. If you have any picture or videos please send them our way. With any luck (or no luck depending on how you see us) we may have another full set to stream. We'll gladly play shows if you ask, but looks like we'll be a little quiet for a bit. Shout out to Bella and Lily for tossing together a rad time.
Wondering why I'm still listening to Big Audio Dynamite,
Colin
SHOW @ BARD COLL3GE
SEPTEMBER AYF. (8TH)
-POGS
--GOOD WEAK
---SSWAMPZZ
----OUR DAILY FIX
AT THE ROOT CELLAR AT BARD COLLEGE (RED HOOK, NY) 9PM. I'M GONNA TRY TO ONE UP SSWAMPZZ AND PLAY WITH A LIGHTSABER, FUCK MACHETES.
What do you get when you have three weird dudes play a few songs in weird tunings then play a minimally practiced Fugazi cover and an excuse to end a song with a break down? Its Good Weak, at the Interactive Museum! Full set video thanks to Brian Labuda.
(the Flops are also playing)
This show is Sunday. We don't know the next time we'll be able to really play a show, maybe a few weeks, few months, maybe empire lengths. It'll be a good time. See you then.
Good Weak 2012
Our friend Chris takes good pictures.
Magnets...

Thanks to whoever came out to the show (our first, finally) tonight. It really meant a lot to us that a boatload of folks came out for a good cause. Big thanks to the Tuscan and all of the other bands. Perhaps one of the most well rounded shows I've been to in a long time. We really enjoyed playing for you and are getting our Batman, Bane and Catwoman costumes dry-cleaned for our show on the 26th with CaddyWhompus, Endure, Mandark, and the Flops at the Interactive Museum in Middletown, NY. We're gonna be playing another cover then and another song. So theres that. See you there.
HEY, WERE PLAYING A SHOW
August 11th. Tuscan Cafe in Warwick. 7 bucks at 7pm. All proceeds go to benefit the Ava Hegarty Memorial Scholarship fund. Ava was a good friend of ours and it would mean a lot if everyone would share the event page which can be seen by clicking here. Its with Cadaver Dogs, NewFang, Wood Spider, and Our Daily Fix. Hope to see you there.
We wanted to challenge Axl Rose
And see how long we can hype the release of a bunch of songs for. Suck it, Chinese Democracy! Anyway, figure out which one of these is true
-Ryan moved to Narnia, TJ bought a zoo, Colin waiting in line for the Dark Knight Rises
-Ryan became a horse jockey, TJ became an actor, Colin became a monk
-We all were busy with other stuff/live semi-far away from each other.
Anyway, heres our demo "DADGAD." It's called that cause all the songs on guitar are in that tuning. Thanks to Bryan Kopchak for record/mixing it. Maybe one day we'll get a chance to play these for you guys, or we could just kinda be like Endure and wait 3 or 4 years.

Had to drop off-
We had to drop off the show on March 2nd. We'll play our first show soon enough and the demo we promise will be up next week. Sorry if any of the 13 people that read this actually wanted to see us.
I’m pretty sad that Gary Carter has died. Rest In Peace, Kid.
We were promised setbacks.....
(I stole that pun from the band Bad Veins.) Anyway, demo will be released by the end of the month. Until then enjoy the Dads of Dad? Photo series. Some of our dads our featured.
