Just about to rub this off the chalkboard.
Pretty botanical pattern for a branding project. Looking forward to sharing the logo from this one.
Botanical wedding logo number 7 now available in the shop. Semi custom digital file personalised with your initials and chosen colour.
Pattern play
I’ve been trying to think of a personal project for a while. Something that’s still in keeping with what I get paid for but without the pressure of perfection. Creating for fun but still learning new techniques, finding new fonts, playing with colours and discovering beautiful botanics. So I’ve decided on a botanical alphabet, pairing some of my favourite fonts with my botanical illustrations to create a monogram for each letter. Here’s the first one inspired by apple blossom teamed with Butler font ultra light. I love a classic serif font especially when it comes in several line weights. If you’d like to see a tiny bit of the process, check out my stories.

Sketching little botanics for a branding project

Another digital wedding logo ready to go.
Illustration from a logo I'm currently working on. Can't wait to share the final design.
Something I've been working on today. One of the rough sketches I've sent to a client today.
Two years ago I bought the book 'How to Style Your Brand' by Fiona Humberstone aka @thebrand_stylist . This book massively helped me to rebrand Gooseberry Moon. It has since become my bible as I've helped other creative businesses bring their branding ideas to life. I am beyond excited to announce that my little creative business is featured in Fiona's new book 'Brand Brilliance' alongside lots of inspiring designers and creative businesses. #brandbrilliance #howtostyleyourbrand #thebrandstylist #brandstylist #branding #brandingbook #inspiringbrands #design #creativedesigner #creativebusiness #smallcreativebusiness #booklaunch

Happy Easter 🐣
The last of the weathered grey silk ribbon going out today. Taking this photo to remember it by as it's one of my favourite colours. I've got the recipes for all of my botanical dyed ribbons but I think I'll struggle to recreate this colour.
