Quick little tidbit-Sub-Adult Tapinauchenius sp Colombia After this latest moult, I noticed Rajah looked much different. When I was googling trying to find what an adult of her species looked like the other sp Colombia pics I could find where mine so at 3" and with fuzzy leg warmers this is a sub adult T. sp Colombia after examining a picture of a sub-adult T elanae and T gigas.

I fed all of my tarantulas except for my lil baby Brachypelma vagans (Ninhursag) last name. And every single one of them ate by this morning. Even the finicky Phormictopus. Well yesterday (5/23/2016) I fed my two Tappis and my olivaceum. The olivaceum was on it and eating within minutes. The one Tappi was unsure and seeming to fight whether she wanted to eat it or not (sp Colombia) so I put the mealworm in a more usual place and I couldn’t see it this morning, but I will look harder upon my return home. Voracious Little Buggers
Man, Miwi my Tapinauchenius violaceus and Balthazaar, the Chaetoplema olivaceum, are such great eaters, it is magnificent. I fed them each a live cricket on 5/20/2016 and within an hour both had fully gobbled down their meal. They eagerly and happily take a meal every 3-4 days. Rajah (T. sp Colombia) did take the cricket the second time around at some point 5/18 late at night. Both Miwi (T. violaceus) and Balthazaar (C. olivaceum) will be getting their meals today, and we will see if either takes them. I am still waiting on molts from Venom (P sp. Hispaniola), Skell (B. cabocla) and Ninhursag (the tiny B. vagans).

Feeding Update!
Rajah never took to her mealworm, and I never fed a live one. I tried a live cricket 5/16 and she did not take it. I pulled it out and retried this morning before work. Balthazzar (C. olivaceum) and Miwi (T. violaceus) both were fed 5/16 live crickets and ate them. Venom (P. sp South Hispaniola) simply stared at it, even when it was right up in her face so I removed it. She is fasting, and now I…

Sadly a death occured
At some point during a three day stay at my boyfriends, I lost Falcon the second of two remaining Kochiana brunnipes of an initial three. They had both been fed on Friday night. None of the guys who were fed ate their whole dinner. I am going to try live feed with my Tapinauchenius sp Colombia tonight, and the remaining alive brunnipes now has a filled rear, but did not eat the whole worm.

Rajah (T. sp colombia) was fed last night 5/11/2016 a pinch-headed meal worm and as of this morning has not ate it. I will see if it is gone tonight, and if not, I will remove and try a live one. So my newest addition to my must-have genus arrived today, healthy and feisty. Based on its attiude upon arrival, I am guess temperment to be a bit more feisty and defensive than my other Tap.
