The words “before i head back home to Spain” had settled itself over the singer’s head, leaving a bitter feeling. Natalie knew he had to go back, she just hated how limited they saw each other but she wasn’t going to let it spoil the moment. (Here’s to getting better, Envy.) “How long are you here for?” she said, trying to keep up with Luis’ stride as best as she could. “And to ease your mind, music is going just fine. Stressful, but fine.” Natalie turned her head, looking at the side of Luis’. It has been too long since they’ve seen each other.

“Oh, maybe another three weeks, before I have to get back to research. A big secret project,” he chuckled. “Until then, I have my vacation days to do what I like... Think things over...” he said softly, his tone somber, but for a moment. “Pero eso es preocupación para otro día, amigo mío.“ He quickly snapped back to himself.

“I’m glad to hear music is going well. Clash at Demon Head. And... What was your friend’s name, again?” he asked, looking back at her, trying to remember. “Tim?..”

Envy let out a light laugh and shrugged her shoulder’s “I can’t say no to free coffee.” She pushed herself off the wall, looking over Luis one more time before making her way to him. With her arm stretched out, Natalie grasped his bicep, tugging him closer to her. “Although, I think it’s only fair I get us something to eat, ey?”

Coffee and a meal? The researcher could hardly refuse, straightening his leather jacket with his free hand, and giving her his usual rugged, but kind smile. “Sounds like a deal to me. Then you can tell me how music is going.” He chuckled, starting to lead Envy down the road, with a little more spring in his step. “We can catch up before I head back home to Spain.”
