All the Illustrations in this tumblr are pictures I have drawn.
Previously, I have also encountered art theft and around April 2015, I wrote a post about “Things that make me want to quit.”

It’s main point was that there were people stealing my art, I was asking them to stop. I didn’t disclose who was stealing my art(in that post), but it is a person named Blargakkake. This user took the pictures I drew, and put them on their profiles on sites such as Tumblr, Pixiv, and dA.

There may even be others who steal my art. Of course, I have not given permission to do such, and have not received any email or message from that user, asking for my permission. This also goes for drafts/drawing processes.
I had never imagined my art would be used in such a way, without permission. In reference to the old post from April, at the time I wrote it, I was not in a pleasant mood, but I decided against naming the person, as I did not make a post with solid evidence.
On my blog, I have a have a warning, and it is also in my header. It reads,
Reprinting of work or process drawings is prohibited as it is theft.
NOT allowed to be used on other websites.
NOT allowed to be plagiarized too.

I feel as if other artist would understand if you put a warning about your art.
Since I didn’t want the thief to be able to see my art, I blocked them on twitter.Since I wanted them to be able to see the post I made (in ref to April post), I did not blocked them until a few days later.
Later, a selection of my illustrations with the word “study” in it, began to link back to my tumblr page. I figured that they had read the post, and began to add things that linked back to my tumblr. [[Basically the thief tried to cover their tracks by calling the reposting a “study” and crediting the OP]]

Even though I had made a post about not wanting my art to be used for such, all the theif did was add “study” and did not take any of the stolen art down.
After that, for a while, there were no new plagiarisms, so I though my art would no longer be stolen, and I did not take any further measures.
However, the other day, I received a notice from a few kind people, that my stolen art was being sold.

At this point I became very angry. But even past that, I was amazed, even past the anger. This person was treating the works of other people ad if the artist didn’t exist, freely stealing it and not feeling guilty.
Moreover, I am not the only person they stole from. They have also reposted art from many others, I never received contact from that person, and that leads me to assume that they are also stealing other artists art without permission.
Since I knew one of the artist who was reposted, and I loved their art, I was shocked.
There are many other pictures whom artist I do not know, and they may have been drawn/traced without the artists permission.
I draw as a hobby, but I love it very much. It made me very happy to hear positive comments from people who viewed my art. It put me into a feeling that made me want to work harder on more art.
But when the precious arts get treated as a material to make money, it makes me feel very annoyed and puts me into a bad feeling.
Again, my artist friend feels the same way, when their art has been used in such a way.
When I first started drawing, I was unable to draw like I can now. I drew sketches, designs and pictures using all different types of materials. When its a study, you’re supposed to think on your own and draw. Tracing is also a form of practice, I believe. But, each and every work should be a display of how hard the artist worked on it.
So rather than claiming the art as their own, they should pay homage to the original artist, and credit them. It is crazy to me, how Blargkkake can sell my art like this, claiming it as their own.
To people that act like that, I do not thing they will be able to draw a good picture from their own ideas.
As I( previously mention, I had blocked the user after a few days since posting the post.
However, that picture (above, twitter) was stolen after so.
No matter how much i write or block them, the art leaks from somewhere, but the thought of them getting into the hands of people like the thief, makes me hesitant to post new art on here, twitter and pixiv.
So i have decided that if my hobby is going to cause me this many unpleasant feelings, I will temporarily stop until I find an environment where I can allow people to look at my art without such unpleasant people around.
I think this will allow alot of us to appreciate art more.
However, I offer my apologies once again, as I will temporarily stop placing my arts on public sites. I am also a person with emotions, and am not a machine that produced art to be stolen.
