Happy Pride to all genderqueer people! Your identity doesn’t need to be more specific, and you’re absolutely allowed to reclaim your label and use it. Being genderqueer is wonderful and you have every reason to be proud!
shoutout to androgynous nbs whose expression of androgyny is a mix of masculinity and femininity 💓
shoutout to androgynous nbs whose expression of androgyny has more femininity to it ✨
shoutout to androgynous nbs whose expression of androgyny has more masculinity to it 💞
shoutout to androgynou nbs whose expression of androgyny is neither masculine or feminine 💫
there’s more than one way to be androgynous and more than one way a person’s androgyny can relate to masculinity and femininity, if it relates at all. celebrate all versions of androgyny and all androgynous nbs however they may express themselves! 💓✨💞💫🌻

“Why should LGBT spaces cater to trans and non-binary people?”
“That’s the T, cis.”
i just spat out my tea

@copperbadge
This whole thread is golden but “cis” made me lol especially hard.
NON-BINARY MASTER POST (part 2)
This is a collection of all my body positive illustrations for non-binary folks I did in 2017. I hope, they help you! <3

Everyone go home, gender is cancelled.
your lgbt pride means nothing if it doesn’t include every member of our community. people of color, disabled people, immigrants, sex workers, addicts, the mentally ill, etc. if you aren’t fighting for all of us, you’re fighting for none of us.
so a quick little follow up in response to everyone adding these “don’t forget x sexual orientation/gender” comments to this
that’s not what this post is about. i purposely did not mention those things because that’s not the issue im focusing on
too often we only support the “lgbt” part of someone and forget the rest. but you cant separate someone’s race from their sexual orientation. you can’t support the “trans” part of someone but ignore the “disabled” part. you can’t say you care about the wellbeing of lgbt people but talk down about or ignore addicts, sex workers, the mentally ill, immigrants, etc.
there is no trans or gay liberation without equality on the basis of race, there is no freedom for the lgbt community until every disabled or autistic person has the care and support they need. you can’t support the rights of gay people without supporting the rights of addicts and sex workers. there is no lgbt community without people of color, disabled people, immigrants, Jewish people and Muslims. there is no history behind the lgbt community without acknowledging sex workers.
this isn’t about supporting someone just for being a lesbian or nonbinary or bisexual. this is about supporting every part of the lgbt community. ignoring the other issues means you ignore the most vulnerable within our community
Girl (2018)
There are many resources online about the dangers of binding for FTM guys, but far fewer that address the dangers of tucking.
This film, based on the youth of trans dancer Nora Monsecour and made in collaboration with her, features a young trans girl character tucking with tape in order to pass as a young woman. It is good to see that a film is drawing attention to MTF struggles, and the daily practice of flattening your groin, which can sometimes be very painful.
As an alternative to tape or bandages, I would recommend LeoLines underwear, available through Etsy. There are many reviews by trans women who recommend LeoLines panties and padded bras, and the underwear is so cleverly designed that many women report not even needing to tuck beneath the panties. (Also, as the designer of these products is a trans woman, all the marketing is aimed at trans women, and not crossdressers.)

Please do not flag this post. It is an educational post, intended for transgender girls who may watch this film and be encouraged to tuck unsafely. It is not explicit.
From the perspective of a trans woman whose closet friend is a trans man, I found this post to be extremely valuable information to have.
Very glad you found this post helpful, friend! I’m a transgender man myself, and I have noticed that many online resources are directed at FTM guys like me, whereas information about tucking for trans women is pretty rare to see shared on trans blogs. I can’t speak from experience, but I do want to put in the effort to support my trans sisters :)
Stop demanding trans women and nonbinary people tuck their genitals!
Stop demanding trans men and nonbinary people bind their chest!
Stop demanding and expecting trans people to harm ourselves in order to be acknowledged as trans/our true gender. Stop misgendering us purposely when we don’t do these things.
I don’t give a shit if not doing means we don’t “pass” and I don’t care if you’re trans yourself, you’re a transphobe and need to cut that shit out.
Intersex/Non-binary in the description and a non-binary pride flag in the new short?? In conclusion we stan harder than ever before
as pride month comes to a close, i want to give a shoutout to all the closeted people who stuck it through. it’s so hard to see everyone celebrating pride when you can’t say or do anything to show you’re pride. if you’re closeted, just know that you are loved🌈
Hey quick note to all my trans sisters;
I love you
You’re absolutely beautiful
No, your voice is not “too deep”
Wear whatever you want
Yes, you are passing. And, even if you aren’t,
You’re still a trans woman regardless of how well you pass
You’re 100% allowed to look and/or act masculine. You’re still a wonderful, real woman
Nobody gets to say otherwise
