I've always wondered -- do flygons shed/molt their red eye cover/bubble things? I know they work as eye protection for flight and against sandstorms, but wouldn't/couldn't they get really scratched up over time?
If they do shed, do they usually come off in one piece? Once on a trip to the Unova Desert Resort I found a red sort of cup/bowl thing on the ground. Could this have been from a shed, or was it probably just some trash blown in or left by a tourist 😔?

they do! it's actually a specialized scale known as a brille, and it provides more protection to their eyes while flying through sandstorms. when they shed their skin, the brille should come off along with it.
i doubt what you found was a flygon brille for a couple of reasons. the first is that it should have had some skin attached to it, because they don't shed the brille separately. the second is that flygon don't really stay in the desert resort! they use it as a nesting site, but they don't stay long term. the females tend to get their sheds out of the way before or after their breeding season, since shedding puts them off their appetite and leaves them vulnerable. so from a timing perspective, it's unlikely one would be going through a shed while at the desert resort.

Commentary: The entire line resembles crab pokemon to me, so my first thought it it would taste something like krabby meat. Looking into things, they still need to eat but are known to not have blood and are instead comprised of magnets. Probably not very tasty then, bummer. Still, I think if you managed to get creative maybe you could make something special using beldum as an ingredient... Or a cooking utensil. Maybe it's preseasoned.

After finding several students' missing items in a desk compartment in my classroom, I've been incredibly suspicious of one of my Pokémon in particular. She doesn't like being accused over nothing, so I had to be careful but...
I was doing a lecture today and, out of the corner of my eye, I notice that Mitzy has escaped her ball and was pickpocketing some random kid sleeping in the back.
I did not teach her Thief. She also was not raised to know Switcheroo. She DOES have the ability Pickup, but I could've sworn that only worked on items left behind, NOT THINGS IN PEOPLE'S LITERAL BAGS AND POCKETS????
