   “It is not a problem, Irunya.” he replied.    Thankfully  her  attempts  to speak more    clearly did wonders for him; though even   beforehand  his experiences with foreign   relations and immigrants helped train his   ear to pick up English words which could   be lost in heavy accents.

  Either way, Terry smiled just as brightly.   “I guess you could say the purpose of   this diplomatic meeting is to establish   good  relations  over  a couple  drinks,   eh? I  have  missed  your  face though,   you got me there.”

he said, not even giving him the time of day by looking up. There was work to be done! He had to focus! Also, he was kinda… thinking about that comment, so looking up was not an option at this point.    Alright, yeah, sometimes Sean could get    a little hostile, and to be completely fair,    so could Terry. Maybe it was the stresses    of being an embodiment, or just the fact    New York didn’t house the nicest of people.    Nonetheless, he released a steady sigh and    watched him look up from whatever nonse-    nse he had himself enthralled in.

        It was always encouraging to be welcomed by     a bright, and enthusiastic smile –rather than a look     of anything less than pleasant. In fact, it was all but     contagious, and Roderich found himself mimicking it.     He had known the American for quite sometime, and     more often than not looked forward to seeing him when     ever he got the chance.            "Terry! I do believe I am just a little bit late with wishes for the Fourth of July. But you look well! It is always a good thing to see you. I take it you must have a had yourself a good time.“

   If there was one thing that Terry always    liked about Roderich, it was definitely his    kindness, which seemed to be fairly cont-    agious in its own right. Though the Amer-    ican always considered himself a man of    respect and, of course, compliments, there    were times where he’d have a slip of a tongue    and bring any sane conversation to a grinding    halt. Since Rod was really just a nice guy,    their conversations usually held quite well.

   ❛ That’s fine. ❜ he smiled.❛At least you’re    here now, yeah? Have to admit not many    of my foreign friends took the time to wish    me a happy fourth this year, perhaps they’re    just getting tired of it all, eh? ❜ But, of course,    the compliment sent his ego flying.❛ Too kind,    too kind. You look great yourself, and the    celebration was wonderful as always. Coul-    dn’t ask for anything better. ❜
