I am once again only motivated to draw because of Dungeons and Dragons.

Wendel Loust is a genasi field medic chosen by the God of a Thousand Forms for the love and devotion he exhibits to those he mends and to his partner who was taken from him by war. Wend believes he is unmatched in keeping death at bay, and devotes his life to making sure people can return to their loved ones.

Here’s my newest DND character, D’zas Rosaline Turr. She’s a wizard with a Tasha’s subclass and I’ve been enjoying playing her a lot, she’s tall and stocky but also clumsy and prim. She’s friendly but a bit self-centered, and most of her self-worth depends on her arcane proficiency. This drawing is pretty unpolished but honestly I hit a very natural stopping point of not wanting to do it any more lol

wowWWwww AND I’ve been taking really nice notes (for reasons relating to the large multiplayer style of the campaign) and I even formatted the hell out of them:

every time I draw one of my dragonborn ladies I truly feel like I’m drawing something for myself. a lady who is noble, graceful, powerful, badass, but whose appearance conforms to no standards (i.e. shes literally a lizard) is so compelling to me. and I hope it is compelling to someone else too

anyways i was also thinking about drawing more of a scene here but they’re not a strength of mine and it ended up just being a quick portrait uwu

i am particularly unhappy with the colours rn but I think she is overall looking good uwu though maybe I wish she looked a little? Taller? I might even just stretch her out in the final version lol

I don’t think I ever posted pictures of my hesbian monk, known only as the Drunk as he hails from a world where sharing your true name gives other beings great power over you (...it was Azalea or Aster or Dahlia. I knew if I picked one I would accidentally say it so I gave him Schrodinger’s names).

He bears a curse that causes others to flinch away from looking at him. He’s a recovered alcoholic who keeps up the appearance of a vagrant, so he can lay low and be underestimated. As you might guess, he was trained in the Way of the Drunken Master.

Here’s my new cleric on a flat bg because tonight was not a “figure out backgrounds” night lol. Thanks to JookpubStock for the pose reference (it made drawing this so much more fun, use reference folks) Arashi Atsu is an Amatsu Dragonborn Tempest Cleric born to a noble house and taught that her family’s shared visage was a sign of their divine mission to protect small-folk against the Corruption. She glides a few inches off the ground, and her holy symbol is a vial of wind made from the horn of an Amatsu.

apparently DND is the only thing that motivates me to draw now. so in ONE of my campaigns we have an NPC who’s a wizard who got turned into a sheep by his bitter apprentice, so our party totes him around while we figure out how to unsheep him. This is him sitting on his hind legs, contemplating the mysterious creatures we just fought.

my first tiefling……………… he is a sorcerer 8 / barbarian 3 for a one-shot who uses fire magic but sometimes gets angry and hits things with a (flaming) sword. he is a stupid arrogant baby who thinks he’s been hunted by ice devils his whole life (he absolutely hasn’t).
