She/Her

Douglas brand “Kita” Akita plush

Yama is an Emotional Support Stuffed Animal in training. She is strong, brave, and very active. She’s quite the girly girl and loves dressing up. She isn’t specifically close with any particular headmate in our System - she works hard to support the whole system.

Special Notes

Her name is the Japanese word for “Mountain” to represent her steadfast nature

Loves to do more “active” ESSA work like going out to stores

Had some cuties that needed a trip to the Plushie Spa after an unfortunate coffee spill from my desk. Everyone is a-okay and was treated very well during spa time. (Schnozzle and Pomelo are both weighted Pillowfort plushies from Target.)

Pumpkin

Douglas brand “Moses” DLux Terrier Mix plush dog

Pumpkin is a sweet, loving dog. She adores cuddling and cool weather. Her favorite season is autumn. Her fur feels a lot like the system’s late Sheltie which is very comforting to many headmates. She prefers low-energy activities, partially because of her malformed legs. We hope to make her leg braces soon!

Patches got an OxyClean soak tonight. Very spa; much therapeutic. His fabric had gotten really dingy, so the OxyClean should brighten him back up. We’ll do a side by side tomorrow when he’s finished drying out.

Build a Bear mail day today! Two new members have joined my Family. The first, pictured here, is Twice Baked Potato (you can just call him Po). We’ve wanted a BAB Longhorn for AGES. He’s primarily partnered with our headmate Jessica (@gq-jessica) but I’m so happy to welcome him to the family.

Please meet Yama (means “Mountain”) - an American Akita pup and my new ESP/ESSA in-training! She’s absolutely beautiful and I love her so much already. We’re bonding well.

(ESP = Emotional Support Plush | ESSA = Emotional Support Stuffed Animal. We prefer ESP because it also alludes to a sort of extra sensory communication that happens between us and our plushies.)
