Well, it’s interesting to see a cat themed troll who also is interested in cold environments such as ice (which is almost similar to water). Her blood colour also resembles the lightish hue of blue, ice has and her quirk changes based on I, C ,E so I can see you’ve thought about how her appearance would affect her God Tier, Personality and even Land and lusus. 

My suggestion is, if she does have Topaz coloured blood, to make it a darker Topaz on her shirt and text when she speaks (She can still have a lightish colour, however it may be mistaken to be a mutant and result in being killed. So it’s always better to be safe than sorry on Alternia. 

If she does have a Sburb land involving ice, perhaps her hive was situated in a cold part of something equivalent to Russia (Where the Lynx can be found.)

Her name is Taeil Specte. This is a WIP of her and I have yet to add any more info or do anything extra to her besides her name, this file, and that she has a moirail. Have any suggestions to add to her?

Your idea of her so far is very cute and I like her appearance. From the glasses colours (Fuchsia and a dark cerulean) I’d suggest making her have quadrants base on those blood colours as that woul should she is recieving protection from more than one person (Maybe a moirail or a matesprit). On the second line it looks like she’s been wounded on her face, maybe she has a hobby or job revolving around sharp objects or where she has to fight creatures or animals (Hence why she’d be a life player as she’s in charge of other’s existences and keeping it in balance so they don’t over run the place.)

Other than that, that’s all the ideas I’ve got. Of course you don’t have to take my ideas, they are just suggestions or hint of inspiration to get you thinking. Good luck in metaphorically fattening her backstory and person out, she’s awesome!

I’m giving another submission bc I actually really like this blog and all it’s wonderful trolls on it!

So, I made up the idea of this girl while I was doing a commission on another site. She’s based off a story I may have be her favorite story and she revolves her life around it.

The story goes like this, there’s a princess who gets a new servant who doesn’t want to be there. Eventually, the princess falls in love with her, but the princess’ father intends to marry the servant as one of his wives. The princess gets upset by this and kills her father to keep the servant for herself and married her when they are of the age to marry.

So, as for this troll, she gets a visit from a human girl that accidentally ends up in Alternia and stumbles into her hive. She makes the girl her servant, but the girl hates her until the troll saves her from a heroic death and they become matesprites.

As for her being a Prince of Doom, the girl is a Prince of Life (since Prince is basically the closest thing to Princess) and a Seer friend of this troll told her that if she didn’t do anything about her personality and life that she would doom herself and the life she was given, that life being her Prince of Life girlfriend.

But we all know sappy princess stories always go happily ever after in the end.

Well first of all, I’m glad you like this blog. Even if there’s only one moderator that’s active anymore and that’s me. 

I like the initial concept of the story and how you’ve brought humans into the world of Alternia. It would even remind me of a futuristic timeline where alien life forms are hinted to neighbour and trade business with other life forms. If it was dealt in the future, it would explain why the princess and the other trolls are not bewildered to this hornless ape suddenly serving them. 

A thing with this though, two princes are not going to suit each other. As a prince is a chaotic, destructive class it would end in a lot of violence, negativity and destruction. Especially two important classes such as Doom and Life. They could both easily flip a switch and kill each other if they ever get angered or revengeful. I would suggest changing one of their god tiers to have a more understanding, tranquillity mind of thought which would compliment them from not destroying the entire world (Maybe the princess would be more understanding, while the servant does want to destroy thing due to her anger being shipped on Alternia and her need to go back home.)

But other than that, I like the story and the characters and they sound and look really amazing so good job! - Admin Signless

First submission, yay.

His name is Daelus Icaris.

He’s a mute Seer of Doom with the his land being the Land of Silence and Prophecy, or LOSAP. He dreams on Derse, and has incredibly weak telepathy in case he’s separated from anything he can use to message his allies.

His lusus is Father Eagle, a giant eagle that he has to guess what it wants when it wants something.

His handle is silentProphet, although he had no idea how accurate it was until he went godtier.

He keeps to himself, seeing as how his visions of the doom of others can reduce him to a crying ball.

His first name comes from Daedelus, the blacksmith who built the Labyrinth that contained the Minotaur, and his last name comes from Icarus, Daedelus’s son who flew too close to the sun on wax wings. This is also why his symbol is a winged hammer and his horns look like hammers

His strife specibus is warhammerkind, for an attempted blacksmith theme.

If there’s any improvements I could make, I’m open to criticism.

I know gr8fantrolls said we’re willing to suggest ideas for character improvement but truth to be told none of the other moderators are on anymore. 

As far as I can see you’ve already gotten a nice backstory and character going and you’ve thought carefully about how his god tier, trolltag and telekinesis would serve and act out during the game. 

I would probably expand on his interests a bit more rather than focus on his emotions so much, it can give a really melancholy vibe. It’s also fine to have a character like that but what more makes him a character other than curling himself into a ball? Maybe he collects a various of war hammers to pass his time in attempt to replace the thoughts of doom in which surrounds him and will occur. 

Maybe he teaches his friends how to sign language due to being mute or is studying Morse code or brail to communicate. 

Anyway, I think this is a great character and very well thought out!

His name is Olirth Batine, and oh boy can he be a handful to manage. On the internet, he tends to start a lot of fights over things like which superhero’s the best (which in his opinion, is troll Batman). In real life though, he has a lot of oversensory breakdowns due to his super sensitive hearing. During his breakdowns, he tends to scream and lash out at anyone that tries to calm him down, so it’s best to leave him alone and have him calm down on his own. While he does love superhero movies, he also has a sweet spot for insects, especially ladybugs. He thinks that the reason that he likes them is because of how unlike most other animals, they don’t really make noise at all. He has a secret collection of insects that he hides from his four-winged bat lusus since if he just kept them out, his lusus would end up eating the insects.

– His design is adorable I absolutely love the sweater! And I really like that he likes superhero movies! And the sensory issues,while not fun for him, are a nice addition to the character! I havent finished her yet but I was really excited so here! This is Nocere, my pirate troll. She exists sometime around the same era as Mindfang, and is a little bit older than her. She used to work for the empire but was disgusted with the violence against lowbloods and decided to use hr power and resources to sink highblood ships and smuggle supplies and slaves to safety

Her ship is a brig named The ‘O Fearghil (a family name) and her lusus is a squid/octopus type creature like a Kraken but more docile!

As to the art on this post the only thing I could think to say was ‘holy wow!’ but I’ll just go with AMAZING for now. This is so detailed and awesome! She looks so cool! 

I love this! I don’t see a lot of ancestor-era fantrolls around and I think they’re awesome. I love her story too! I would love to read more about her adventures! She seems like a really amazing pirate. And woah that Lusus sounds so cool!!

His name is Brundo Eerist, and he absolutely loves bears. He loves them to bits, that most of his art is centered around all types of bears, especially of his lusus. Generally he’s a pretty easy guy to talk to if he knows you pretty well, but he turns into a quiet and awkward guy if he doesn’t know you. Although he loves to draw traditionally along with painting, which he gets the supplies for his paint by a less than friendly source, he did used to focus on digital drawing and used to have a drawing tablet of his own. He gave the tablet to another friend of his after he infected his computer with a lot of viruses and he can’t really use his computer anymore.

I’m sorry this fantroll is under arrest for being too cute. 

This guy looks amazing! I love the bear theme so much! And I love that he’s an artist and does all sorts of art. Too bad about the viruses thing, but still. 

Overall he seems really adorable, but also a really good fantroll with a good background and story!

Okay, so I made a Rainbow Drinker Fantroll!

She’s a Jade Blood, and her Name is Aralyn Izuria. She’s a Plague Doctor type troll, who goes around treating illness and disease, but if a troll is unsaveable, she will kill them off quickly so that she has a free supply of blood to satisfy her, and the troll dies a less painful death.

Other than that though, I don’t really have any information about her, so I’d be really grateful for any suggestions for her!

Yea shes my very first fantroll…I would love some suggestions for improvement thanks!

Things I Like: + I like her design and how it’s balanced between a canon outfit without still being too boring and plain. As for suggesting improvements there is not much for me to comment on, she seems like an interesting troll and her hair is definitely pretty cool too! My only suggestion is to maybe change the horns so it either relates more to her lusus (I’m assuming it’s the lion in the image or change the horns so it looks more like an A like her symbol. Other than that she seems pretty awesome, keep up the gr8 work!

her name is Mosann Lihdag, and she loves to indulge in meditation, no matter what kind of mood she’s in. She always has incenses burning around her hive, even though it makes her mosquito lusus mad with the smell. She also likes to collect gemstones that’re around her hive, although her most beloved gemstones were given to her by her moirail. The wristband she has was also given to her by her moirail.

Things I Like: + I really like the background you’ve giving her and the fact that you’ve also given an insight of the temperament of her lusus too and that you’ve actually considered her background and relationships too. I sort of like her hobbies too, trolls aren’t usually the species to meditate or to become tranquil and in communion with their spirit but it’s nice to see a change! Overall I love her design and character and it’s very unique!

The one on the left is Tabb Cowen-Protecter of an Sburb session The one on the right is Klemens Seshadri-Protector of an Sgrub session Bolsassornians Home-World: Tethannis IX -They are heromphrodites,But most are either masculine or feminine - A race of purple-eyed, telepathic,lavender skinned humanoids whose sight is amplified by light. They wear tattoos to indicate their status in society. -They share their home-system with a species of enormous space-dwelling life-forms which they harvest for food. -Physically stronger than humans. -They are ruled by a creature known as ‘Yippelborb’, which originated in a distant galaxy. -They produce a pheromone that makes non-intellectual humans fall instantly in love with them. -You can tell their blood color by the color of the markings around their eyes -Yippelborb assigns some of the adolescents to enter the sgrub and sburb sessions to protect the players. If all their players are dead,they die as well.

Things I Like: + The first thing that caught my attention was their eyes, they remind me of something would come from a horror movie, as if their eyes were burnt out from the socket (I’m not really sure if that’s a compliment or not but what I’m trying to say is that it’s cool in a way). I also like the ideas you’ve put into their species and that they are so intelligent that they have the ability of space travel and finding species to share and trade life sources with. Overall I really like them, now that I think about it I kind of really want to make one.

Things I Like: + The first thing that caught my eyes was his ears, they look really cool and because he’s likes squids that would be a good appearance to share with squids (because science says they have very good hearing). I also adore his prospit outfit, he looks so dapper. We haven’t had many Beforus trolls on our blog which I’m glad to finally see one and I’m sure his descendant/ancestor looks just as amazing. I also like the fact that you’ve gone original with interests, probably the first troll I’ve seen liking tentacles and squids and the clever idea of using a tentacle as a whip-like weapon is awesome too. Overall an original and well thought out troll!

You know, instead of making a "great" emphasis on great. Fantroll blog, you could of made one to help people with ones that are bad.

Well, it would be hard to manage one of those blogs successfully, mostly because everyone has a different idea for what is neccesarily “bad”, and we have no place to judge what other create.

At the same time, not one person can make an identical fantroll of another (unless copying and theft is involved, which hey, don’t steal), and I’d honestly rather see 200 “bad” fantrolls than 200 “good, but carbon copies of canon/each other” fantrolls. Certainly there is always room for improvement but the job for THIS blog is to assure people about their creations and be kind.

Thank you mod watermelon for answering this ask, I just wanted to invest my opinion to this ask too. We made gr8fantrolls for a reason, we aren’t here to criticise or take designs which others assume are terrible and “fix them”. Great can come down to anything, I have seen countless of fan trolls on bad fantroll blogs that I found are excellent. Everybodies opinions on what is great or not varies. We rely on our followers to submit what they consider as great, all we do is agree and compliment the things we admire. Our blog is not meant to be something that would mean redesigning and repairing someone else’s fantroll, this is a positive blog and making fun or trying to alter someone’s creativity or creation is something our blog will never scrummage to because that’s negativity especially unasked, that’s using someones creation and telling them that it’s not good enough. Here on our blog, we want to showcase every troll, mutant, albino, Kawaii whatever the hell they are. If the person thinks it is gr8 then it will always be good enough to place on our blog. We however do not want to make the bad look worse, we will never be one of those blogs. Instead of asking us why we aren’t helping with the bad fantrolls, look around and see how many blogs are focused on using people’s designs, ones that people have felt proud about and humiliating them. We will not be another blog that centres around the hatred of bad fantrolls, even if we're trying to fix them, which as a creator I would find offensive if we just took someone's designs and altered it to our satisfaction. We showcase the gr8, and every fantroll will always have something spectacular about it.-Mod Signless
