Backstory - he grew up in a loving home, not much wrong with it, just a couple of snarky comments once in a while but nothing peculiar. Then his quirk manifested, and everything went to shit. His parents went psycho, calling him weak and pathetic because his quirk wasn't powerful enough - more on his quirk next! They grabbed a blade, his hands, and began cutting and slicing his palms and the tops of his hands to try and "fix his quirk". Obviously, it didn't work, but left him with thick white scars along his hands which he covers with gloves now. He moved out at 15, got his own place cause he couldn't tolerate the abusive tendancies anymore. He was on his own till around 15½ when the league found him and recruited him because he "accidentally" took down Dabi with a few slick punches on a random evening.
He joined the league and has been in it ever since, he was with Kage but then Kage left which he was upset about of course. They haven't seen each other since... (Hint hint)
Aoi has got a boyfriend, but he's not the kindest guy ever.. (hint hint)

Explanation - he can touch and affect things without physically touching it. For example, he could pick up a pen by moving his hand in the way of picking up the pen and do it from around 10 metres away
Affects - mentally tasking, always fucking fidgeting so his hands stay busy and don't get bored, he zones out 24/7 and if he overuses his quirk then he could sprain or break bones in his hands
Character - really happy, hyperactive, probably got ADHD which also means he's kinda anxious about being too much, sarcastic and low-key kinda funny but he's also sweet
