Archer just nodded at his sisters words as he knew she was right. She was always right and had never gave up on him. “Gracie, thanks for always being here.” He didn’t say it enough but he hoped she truly knew how much he appreciated her being there for him for everything. He let go of her and started walking to the house and up to the bathroom to take a shower. Once inside he started taking off his shirt and throwing it haphazardly on his bedroom floor.
Gracelynn followed her brother inside and to his room to help him get settled and to check his body for any injuries she hadn’t seen. “Oh my god, Archie.” She said catching sight of his abdomen. Their father had gone too far this time. She was surprised her brother was even moving after this fight. “We are packing bags and leaving to go the McCoy house.” She knew Glory from high school and the red head had told her any time she needed help it would be given to her. “Me and Glory are old friends from school I have no worries we will be protected while there.”
