UPDATE TIME!

No, I have not gotten my ipad fixed yet. Life has been hectic so I haven't had time. However, I HAVE downloaded krita on my laptop, and since I planned to do the backstory comics in a messy style anyway, well. I may not have a tablet but by god I have a mouse.

It'll still be a little bit before the backstory comics are released; I have most of them written, but there's a lot to do lmao. For now, have a teaser of one of the family designs I've been working on. Who is she related to? You'll just have to see...

so I took a break from drawing for a few days, and when I sat back down to work on some grackle pages, my ipad. did not turn on. and, fool that I am, I forgot to back up all my wips, so I guess brief hiatus while I get that figured out lmao. it may magically fix itself (it has the last few times this has happened), but honestly no telling. so we'll see, but I'll get back to grackleclan when I can!!

I'll be honest I SUCK at voice claims so I don't really have any concrete ones, but for nightstar I imagine a voice somewhere between like double trouble (she-ra) and eda (the owl house). a kind of mature androgynous woman voice yk?

I don't! I've never used comicfury before so I haven't thought about it, but I might check it out

toxel's father was a waste cat who was like "oh let me teach you how to be Tough and Survive in case you need it!" and then toxel took it in the direction of "hmm what if I hurt people for fun"

and yeah, he grew on me too... he was supposed to be a one-off character but now I've written him in later in the comic bc I love him so much

thank you so much for supporting my silly little comic. I'm glad people enjoy the kitties in my computer

I feel like since 500 is such a big milestone I should do something special but idk what... I have a design contest in mind for later but they're kits that don't show up until moon 40 lmao. so I suppose options are this:

results are IN! clan founder backstory shorts it is! these will take me a little while since the business of summer approaches, but they'll be short sketchy comics of the cats before grackleclan. it may take me a little while but I'll try to alternate between backstory and actual pages! I also have some asks to catch up on and I promise I'll get to those eventually

also, since a pretty significant number of people showed interest in a design contest, I'd still like to do one at some point - probably after july once everyone's done with artfight
