📸 my aunt's family has a fish tank in their house and it’s just the cutest thing ever, they even have this tiny turtle and i love it so much + a bad doodle I made during my biology lab class because I can’t focus all the time 🎣🌿

I’m currently quarantining for a week in a hotel so I’m trying to catch up with my studies because I couldn’t study properly last week because of traveling preparations.

And lastly, I got an 18/20 in my biology test which is quite amazing because the test was so hard and I almost ran out of time… I’m proud of myself and I hope I can keep it up lmao🙏

Rain, tea, research & zoom study session

We do zoom sessions almost every day now, sometimes even for the whole day. When we're not studying, we’re doing chores or one of us is reading and the other watching a movie. It really helps during lockdown.

Sooo third semester online is a struggle! I was already anticipating the mess because every time I have less work I will procrastinate the hell out of doing anything (parkinson's law duh) but I was just hoping for the productivity to come back with the daylight and nope. It was just very bold of me to assume things will be the same after a year spent just sitting at home 🤡 (ig)

It’s not my favorite word but it’s so satisfactory to say. “lakin” it means but in Turkish but it’s more of an old word but it sounds so cool.

28.03.2021 // finally finished my three assessments due tomorrow!! currently starting on my next essay.

Day 26- What has been your best zoomester experience so far?

nothing specific but i love those moments in breakout rooms when everyone is like “i don’t actually know what’s going on” and then we end up talking about memes or politics or something equally as irrelevant

as nerdy as this sounds i really love learning about things from and with people who are even more passionate about them than i am

i’ve been getting into the sims 4 again after like three years of not playing, practising chess, not much else really

i’m taking it easy today. sometimes you just need a day to chill, to sip on a warm mug of tea, review old screenwriting notes, and let your body rest. i’m just taking today one minute at a time. thank goodness it’s friday ♡

About Today

The final day of my weekend was spent celebrating a dear friend’s birthday and topped off with a brilliant group Bob Ross paint session with my wife and our friends in the US. My painting is nothing like the original and I kind of love that.

Feeling very content and not quite ready to hit the work week tomorrow.

Today was a chill day again, since my family was home from work. I finally finished the April spreads on my reading journal. I have also started the new tv series on Leonardo Da Vinci. In the afternoon I ppayed board games with my family and I have did a couple of things I had to do in my garden.

started a bunch of new courses this week and i’ve been pretty busy. this spring will truly be a lot of work but i’m trying to take it one day at a time. i always start stressing about the entire semester in the first week as if i’m supposed to do all the work right there and then. i need to remind myself that i have time.

5.4.2021 // first day of our teaching break. so nice not to be in classes,, but im glad this term we got to be in person. v grateful for that ✨🤍

09.01.21// cozy inside cold outside. It’s nice getting out for a little walk to a coffee shop or to run errands because the lockdown has me more or less never leaving home. I’ve got a few decorative items arriving today for my desk space so I’m excited to move things around and really enjoy my work space!
