Better giving them more of a reason than just leaving them. You don’t need to tell them exactly why, just let them know before you distance yourself.

Not at all, I don’t want a part of it and my mom knows. She just doesn’t care apparently. My dad used to be the reason I didn’t have to but sine he died my mom had no reason to not make me do it.
