The Gashadokuro are such a cool folklore concept.

My favorite thing is this idea that they somehow are able to silently stalk people despite being almost 100-foot tall skeletons, because no one looks up.

Gashadokuro aka the starving skeletons are the reanimated and combined bones of the victims of starvation. Up to a hundred feet tall, they are heralded by the sound of bells ringing in the ears of their victims. They reach down from above to capture people and bite their heads off. The Gashadokuro haunt the darkness after midnight.

Movie time!

Going to see Gravity in 3D today! Judging from rave reviews, the shorts on TV and the Actor and Actress involved, it should be amazing. Not that 3D has ever really done much for me other than just make it hard to watch with the glasses on. I just wish I had been notified earlier than on the day so I could at least try and get some tribs. I mean, can you imagine what it would be like to watch someone float around in space after a catastrophic explosion while tripping balls? I can only imagine it would be amazing...oh well, I'll just have to settle for 3D :D
