my therapist reminded me today that ive wanted to be in community with black artists and i finally found them and what a wonderful perspective to have as i end this grueling year.

now to finish writing my thesis and make a good movie 🙇🏽

got a food processor and im addicted to making my own shaved ice lol

spent the semester freaking out about my thesis and wrote two doodoo drafts. it was good because i needed to get them out but i should not have been stressing #learning

my improv class was incredible. i learned that its ok to not know. you just have to have an emotion, and trust you can come up with something. my teacher was so smart, wonder if she'd adopt me

one more semester of school and then im in the real world. im not really ready but its ok lol

being in my 30s is so strange because people are definitely younger than me but i also feel so youthful lol but like not in the way people who are younger than me are youthful.

i think if i could tell my younger self anything id just be like its ok to be annoying and weird people will still love you lol

i need to get "let it be a mystery" painted on my walls and tattooed on my arms and inside of my eyelids

love finding a new comedian every 3 months and watching every piece of standup/media they have out.

batman was fun. it was just a grand ol time. lmao like yes it was corny superhero dialogue and it was silly cuz they made bruce wayne this emo guy but i had a blast. lots of things getting blowed up, lots of fun hero stuff and some suspense. paul dano was a bit nutty and jeffery wright had nothing to do but i recommend it if you have 3 hours to spare.

im not a screen snob, but there is something about being back in the movie theatre

forgot to schedule therapy and now all of the slots left dont fit with my schedule so no therapy for the entire month of feb. mind if i scream?

changed my new thesis idea and my teacher said it was interesting so now i just have to distill it because i often want to make a feature into a short with all the themes i try to cram into it. but i want this to be like 15 min and programmable lol

i love epiphanies bc they're always so simple. ive been riding my bike and everyone knows ive chosen a route that is painful and humbling (one long climb) but i realized that if i dont want to stop i just have to keep pedaling. and i basically did that (i still stopped a couple of times but went longer and further without stopping!) and it was really great to get through the ride with that in mind. just keep pedaling lol so simple and so applicable to like everything lmao maybe i'll put it on a tshirt
