I am firmly convinced Rose would not be a good parent. 

She has many aspects in common with Dirk (who we know is a shitty parent), both are relatively cold and manipulative (through act 5 especially). She has constantly mistaken genuine acts for passive aggressive jabs at her from her friends (she took up knitting out of spite because of John’s letter) and mother. She claims to be a therapist, but she uses her knowledge to ridicule people, Dave especially (gay jokes, incest jokes). She’s prone to alcoholism. And she’s constantly starting her own psychological warfare with people, like her mother, Scratch, Dave, Kanaya early on.
