A true vacation with my darlin' starts with a short trip to Ann Arbor, Michigan for a swanky dinner at Logan's American Bistro and a live show at the Blind Pig. Many blasts from the past and a fresh start. Nick Diamonds made me grin and itch to buy his tunes. Evan was fantastic to watch. The set with them was a good warm up for the main course of The Both. Aimee Mann and Ted Leo made us laugh out loud as well as hoot and holler with each amazing tune. Added to all that, the Prowsemeister knows how to take a lady to a show! Our knees were against the stage! It was totally worth standing out in the cold drizzle as the second couple in line! Now in London with the 'rents then on to Toronto for the Canadian music festival and a handful of tasty morsels the boy has planned for us. I can't wait!
