farm cats!!!!!! are so cute!!!!! give me farm cats lazily sunning themselves on fences and spending their nights on the prowl in the barn. give me happy little chirps as they follow behind you in your work and vie for pets.

Yeah, no.  Outside cats are fucking awful because of the ecological impact they cause. They may be beloved pets, but they are still a non-native invasive species that causes harm on the native species and ecosystems.  Not that it’s the poor moggies’ fault — it’s just their instinct. Besided, an outside cat might get hurt in fights with other cats and animals, get hurt, beat, poisoned, or kidnapped by humans, and very likely will get diseases and parasites that can be hard to treat. Cats are indoor pets. Be responsible and screen your windows. Keep kitties inside.

windy, rainy weather is the best. i just went outside for a bit and as silly as it sounds sometimes it’s nice to stand in the rain (it was just a light amount anyways)…and feel the cool droplets against your skin.
