yayayay i have finished all my ko-fi icon comms! thanks everyone who left a tip! ^o^ rlly got into a groove by the end, so i might do this type of campaign in the future (though maybe for not as long of a time, lol). here's a fun little collage of em all together :) if i forgot one you requested i probably just messed up with syncing all my pics, i got a lot this go around aaa!

Thus brings an end to an impromptu month of Teto. Thank you for joining me on this journey -- this is just a little post to bookmark the end of it. A little blog post about it all is after the break.
Why?
One of the most common bits of art advice you hear, and also are adviced to disregard, is "practice every day". Doing it, and forcing yourself to do so daily is quite an easy way of burning out, after all.
However, I found myself many times, of wanting to do art but just... not? Being tired, not thinking I have the time, procrastinating. Learning how to technically make art is one thing, it's another to learn how to physically devote the time and fatigue to doing so.
Thus, daily art, to build that 'muscle'.
Okay, But Why Teto?
I started getting back on making art consistently-ish right when Youtube finally seemed to start working, and alongside Spoken For and Birdbrain recommended me a bunch of other really good Teto songs by a bunch of talented folk.
The first vending machine Teto was on a whim because of that, then a thought of "wouldn't it be funny if I just drew vending machine Teto for the whole month?"
Okay, But Why Vending Machines?
I like them. c:
Really, that's just about it. Always had a fascination for them and the weird little oasis they provide. The photos I was able to find for them also tend to have really nice lighting and be front-facing-ish? Which meant not having to struggle with perspective.
And Photos Instead of Backgrounds?
I also really like that mixed media style of drawing and wanted to get better at it.
What's Next?
I am planning on starting a series of Teto Going to Ikea. Please wait warmly. (joking)
I will probably be taking a break for a while, and while committing to a series like this might not happen (have gotten dangerously close to burn-out), mixed media photos and Teto still both appeal to me.
