I hate comparisons...really I do.  But at times I feel its the easiest way to get people to listen to new music.

So here is my comparison:  Bahamas sounds like Bon Iver mixed with Jack Johnson.  

Now that I have your attention: please make it a point to place in your musical rotation this sparse, haunting yet melodic album.

Frank Ocean has posted a teaser video announcing what seems to be the date of his forthcoming album titled "Channel Orange".  Mark the date...July 17th!

Pretty excited about this album.  Really loved the 'Nostalgia/ Ultra' mixtape.  Truly unique R&B artist with great lyrics and original music.  

Bonus Coverage:  John Mayer just posted a link to Frank Ocean's song titled "Pyramids" stating that he contributed to the album as well.
