Well, Alp thought, as Kristoff took a winding road through more trees than he’d seen anywhere but Alaska, someone would have to work hard to find Elsa out here. --But that meant people who did would know what they were doing.
He’d already investigated all the names Elsa had given him, running background checks and tracing them through social media and tabloids--nobody in the Arendelle household seemed able to fly under the radar--and he’d meet with their security team once they arrived, but he still couldn’t shake the apprehension of being in a totally unfamiliar area. He could handle it, he was sure about that--but it was nothing like Chicago.
When Kristoff turned off the two-lane road onto an unmarked one, Alp leaned to see past the man’s shoulder and out the windshield. “Is this the driveway?” He couldn’t see a house yet, but this road didn’t look as well-traveled as the one they’d been on before.
