PLEASE DONT SPOIL IT for anyone I beg you guys! Please? I don’t want to be a burden but think about this:

There is a lot of people who can’t afford to see the movie yet (like myself) who are waiting and saving their money for months to see this movie and don’t want to be spoiled by scrolling through a tumblr post

and if you are waiting to see it with people you love and/or going to see it and are excited to go to the theater I’m so excited for you! Have fun!

and I totally understand that your excitement is high and your adrenaline is high and you’re ready to post about it and discuss it and so on

but please think before you post a spoiler or anything of the sort about how you’d feel if you got spoilers for a movie that you were really excited want to see and got spoiled

And spoilers do ruin the viewing experience for everyone else no matter what anyone says.

The beauty of the evening ball was nothing short of spectacular as you stepped from your carriage that evening into the the balmy Louisiana night

You were not but only a young woman then who was no longer in your childhood comforts of Tennessee.

since having traveled to New Orleans to find yourself after your family left to follow the whispered Gold Rush in North Carolina

You were wearing a beautiful dress with silk ribbons and gold accents you looked as beautiful as a blooming rose and twice as fragile to anyone who saw you

You weren’t a thin woman having had the blessing of a good family taking care of you and most women envied your curves

You walked around the ball and danced with a few male suitors but then you felt the stare on you.

The gaze of a man who hungered and not for any of the food they had around in abundance no this creature was stalking you, you thought he was a man looking sex..but he hungered not for the flesh

But for your blood..

You saw him softly walking near you his long blonde hair was tied in a deep royal blue ribbon that matched the suit and tails he was wearing.

he looks at you the way you would think a bear looks at a salmon before attacking

He took your hand and against all the judgement you had you followed while a harpsichord played in the background

You were sure this would be how you died a young very gullible woman in the arms of a mysterious stranger.

“My dear..” the man began “I’ve been watching you and you are quite lovely” the man said smoothly

You were amazed how pale he was and how flawless his features were like he was cut out of pure marble with blue eyes like burning flame

“My name is Lestat de lioncourt and Mon Cher you are simply ravishing in that dress..”

You gulped and smiled trying to remember your manners

“Thank you sir I am Y/N it’s a pleasure to meet you” you said but the fear was clear in your voice

Then everything moved quickly he grabbed you and you saw who he really was.

Something sinister

The whispered rumors were true

He was a vampire!

You were absolutely terrified of him and started to run away from him down a long hallway you ran so fast your lungs burned from your quick pace and he chased you for a long time he went to grab you until you shrieked in fear

His blue eyes softened and he grabbed your wrist not to bite you as he had planned but to comfort you

“Don’t be frightened..” he said gently

“Unhand me…I-i..” you said but Lestat guided you to a sofa and sat with you

“I know your frightened i know I scare you so,but I vow to never hurt you” Lestat said gently

You didn’t believe him

“You can weave a web with words. How do I know you aren’t unlike a spider laying a trap?” You asked but didn’t let go of his hand for some reason

Lestat stroked your cheek lovingly

“My vows are true my dear” Lestat said with a chuckle “you speak as though you’ve lived a century”

Even though his touch was cold you felt a warmth by his words

“A woman’s life makes her wise” you said holding his hand on your cheek

“What about us men then Mon ange?” Lestat asked intriguingly

“Age makes a wise man wiser and makes a fool out a man who knows nothing” you said as you fanned yourself with your blue silk fan.

Lestat laughed soft

“Oh my sweet Cher your beautiful mind thrills me” Lestat said “and your beauty could write sonnets alone”

You blushed because no one had ever spoken to you so sweetly

“And your as beautiful as an angel mister de lioncourt” you said

“I will sing praises of your beauty forever Mon Cher” Lestat said

You both continued your conversation and Lestat was holding you comfortingly in his arms as he was telling you about his theatre troupe in France and how he had just purchased a mansion from a man named Louis

when a man who had clearly had too much to drink walked over and snatched you from the safety of lestat’s arms

“Be my bride poppet you look like your the marrying age and so plump like a goose” the man slurred and kissed you

You turned around and slapped the man after you gagged

In the same amount of speed it took for Lestat to raise off the sofa he had the man by the neck with one hand and had you pulled close with the other before lestat held your cheek and kissed you

Your eyes fluttered and you felt so loved from a single kiss.

“You bastard..” Lestat said as he walked the drunk over to the edge of the railing and waited for the orchestra to rise in tempo before he dropped the man over the rails into the pit below with a loud crash

In the chaos of the crowd’s reaction Lestat guided you outside and you both walked towards the mansion of Louis du lac..

What happened next was rumored for centuries after your first meeting

It was rumored you died and was never found

But little did they know that you and lestat have lived happily together for the last four hundred years as that night he turned you into a vampire after declaring his love for you

I’ve been obsessed with Persephone since I was 12 and on my old stan Twitter acc I went by softie and softie-persephone didn’t make sense and it didn’t look cute, so I just stumbled onto soft-persephone because I just had to incorporate both for tumblr

I love the handle softie because I feel like softness is often times denied from black women and I’ve always known I’ve been soft.

One day I was organizing, looking at all the little loose notes and pieces of paper that I've been using to write down ideas and scenes. They were spread all over the floor and I had a passing thought of "I'll break my neck if I don't pick these all up!"

It stuck in my head and once I got brave enough to start posting fics, I thought of a name as a way of saying, "I got all these words to trip over, I'm always slipping a note into a pocket/folder/purse, and there's always ink on my hands."

I had Tumblr many moons ago, then fell off when I thought they were shutting it down. About 3 years ago, a friend had reminded me Tumblr is still alive. (I would go on for sims custom content but it didnt really click that people wrote fics on here. Plus I was new to fanfic)

My username is from when I got back in tumblr and made a new account. At the tine I had hust watch Deadpool and Wolverine and there's a scene in the movie where Deadpool shoots Wolverine a bunch and he just spits out the bullets. (At the tine I was down bad for Wolverine... I mean still am 🤭)

You were excited at first..but now your terrified of everything about pregnancy

You were around seven months almost eight, now and the idea of giving birth was something you didn’t think about without getting panic attacks

But you had the best husband in the world.

he is so sweet and gentle to you he was your support when you felt the world falling apart

“Easy there darlin’ you need some help?” Charlie asked as he walked in to the room and saw you struggling

as he helped you sit down comfortably he rubbed your stomach

“How’s my little superstar huh?” He asked your bump

You smiled because despite your fear of being pregnant and birth you have found yourself talking to your stomach more too and you always felt the kicks of the baby from within your womb.

“Kicking me like crazy I think they are doing the mambo in there” you said with a tired laugh as you laid your hand over his hand on your belly

“They are so hyper today easy kiddo let your mama rest” he whispered to your stomach

The baby calmed down into little kicks

then you saw the mail get delivered and you waddled to get it with Charlie’s help

There was a letter from Raymond Charlie’s brother who lived in a supportive living center and he had started making great improvements like being able to write you and Charlie letters and sometimes, mostly since you both told him he was going to be an uncle,

he sends drawings and sketches for your nursery.

You read the sweet letter that he sent telling you how he’s excited to meet the baby and that he hopes that you like his sketch of one of his ducks that live in the pond in the little park at the center

The sketch was absolutely beautiful and the details were amazing it was a mother duck and a duckling

It stirred your heart

“Charlie we got a letter from Raymond” you said

Charlie walked up and smiled as he read the letter while holding you

“I’m telling you he should sell these pictures” Charlie said looking at the sketch

Later that night Charlie was giving you a back rub gently trying to help you calm down but your anxiety was acting up

“Shh deep breaths what’s wrong Angel?” Charlie asked so gently

“I’m still nervous about all of this, the labor and giving birth..” you sob

“Shh..shh Sweetheart look at me” Charlie said making you look at him

“no matter what I will be at your side during every part of you having our baby

holding your hand through every single push and contraction we have been taking all those Lamaze classes and I’ll do anything to help you through this. You're so strong and brave.”

You cuddled him the whole night long with a new found sense of comfort and warmth.

“You always know what to say my darling love” you said as he hugged you carefully

54 hours and six pushes later

You and Charlie were the proud parents of a beautiful baby girl who was currently snuggled close in your arms as Charlie stood beside you in awe still.

“I can’t believe we are now mom and dad..you were a superstar during all that baby” Charlie said as he kissed your head softly

“Our little girl was worth it and more my sweetheart I love you both so much” you said while looking at your little girl as Charlie held her little hand in his.
