it’s the way frankie would fuck joe in a HEARTBEAT for me
Joe Santagato
Radio city music hall 🥹 so proud of these boys
My boys are making it happen! So proud of them xx
Joe
Watching the Dr Mike episode I am deeply intrigued by the idea that obviously Joey wants to bottom for Dr Mike or be pegged by his own fiance cosplaying as Dr Mike or following their clearly defined but obvious swingng rules with Frankie and Becca, be fucked by Frank or pegged by Becca AS Dr Mike. Joey is so obviouSr

pregnancy not being considered a temporary disability literally haunts me. it's ignored in so many disability spaces and so many feminist spaces fail to properly address accomodation for pregnant people because they don't have the knowledge of disability justice to discuss it.
but if you look at pregnancy in the light of disability justice, it clears up so much. there are so many types of accomodations that should be accessible for pregnant people, so many changes to the system and ways to implement them.
it also brings to light the ableism pregnant people often face while pregnant, from the frequent claims of "lazy pregnant people" to the lack of accessibility and options to deal with side effects like pain and loss of mobility.
the lack of intersectionality in both disability and feminist spaces leaves things like pregnancy slipping through the cracks and it's so painful to see.
#there’s this tiktok where a woman asked a physically disabled person if it was okay for her to use the mobility scooter trolleys at target#or wherever because her pregnancy made it painful and difficult to stand up and walk around for prolonged periods of time and the person#answered ‘if your leg was broken you’d use the mobility scooter even though it’s also a temporary disability so why can’t pregnant people#also use them’ and for me that perfectly encapsulates all of my feelings that I could never articulate#they also talked about how people unconsciously see pregnancy as a punishment for having sex especially for women#also an important aspect to consider is the racism and specifically the misogynoir that’s imbedded in the medical industry#both serena williams and beyoncé almost died because of medical misogynoir during their pregnancies and they are both insanely rich women#so imagine how this affects low income black pregnant people tags by @expromqueen
Also honestly? Aside from people with very severe allergies I don't think there is any other group of people who can take so few medicines.
And maybe it's different in other countries but in Germany, at least, almost every medicine (that isn't outright forbidden during pregnancy because we know it harms the unborn) comes with a warning that there haven't been studies with pregnant women so you should ask your doctor before taking the medicine. Which is just all kinds of shit because for quite a lot of those medicines we have decades of experience and we know what to expect (and how safe they are to take).
Anyone who tells me pregnancy doesn't disable (or at least severely handicap for those who dislike the term) you hasn't seen a pregnant woman with a severe cold/flu try to get by on some paracetamol and saltwater-based nosespray.
it's downplayed because it's seen as something voluntary, something you choose to be, therefore it's not as serious.
which is total bullshit! not all pregnant people chose to be, and. even if it were something one chooses 100% of the time. abled people choose potentially disabling things all the time (alcohol, drugs, smoking, sports even if not extreme etc can all lead to becoming disabled, think of football brain injuries)
why is it different for pregnancy? it's a condition that makes everything hard to do, and can very easily become a lifelong disability even after term (complications both physical and mental exist)
ohh wait. wait I think I got it. it's the misogyny and sexism combined with ableism.
Also even for those who choose to get pregnant, the word "voluntary" is doing some real heavy lifting. If people could have children without pregnancy, you'd suddenly have way fewer "volunteers".

some of my favourite comments as seen on chris fleming's youtube recently
spn really said; government agents secluded sam and dean from each other in concrete boxes, but joke’s on the government because salmon dean’s cells we’re right next to each other and they can communicate telepathically.
watching the DND movie again and there are just SO many things to love about it but the one I keep coming back to is how Holga is ALLOWED to be a Barbarian. She has muscle. She has body hair. She has visible scars and tattoos that aren't "pretty". Her armor actually covers her body and isn't designed to be sexy. She's a messy eater. She walks with strength and doesn't sashay. She is gruff and violent and powerful, but still gets moments of genuine connection and emotion because the writers haven't conflated Strong Woman with Emotionless Mannequin. She's a mother figure and loves her child but doesn't magically soften for it. They haven't written her to be "dumpy" for being a strong woman, she is both extremely attractive and not particularly feminine.
I fucking love her and I'm so glad the writers did her right.
