This Cigar, the Cain Daytona 660 is a fantastic smoke. From the beginning to the end excellent. Love the size of this cigar, love how it burns, love the taste. It‘s really a great cigar.

Another great smoking night with good friends lies behind us!

This time we went to the "Havanna - Bar Lounge Restaurant" in Zofingen. A good place to spend some time, enjoy a drink and smoke a nice cigar.

The cigar, a Cain Straight Ligero Maduro 660, was absolutely fantastic. Love the 6 by 60 format. Love the power which lies inside this cigar. Love the strenght of the cigar. This is truly another masterpiece from the Cain brand.

Also is the Cain Straight Ligero Maduro 660 a good companion to a Murphy's Irish Stout! Great pairing! I highly recommend the Cain Straight Maduro 660!

  It was a good cigar. I love the "Gordo"-Format. It's a big cigar. A big cigar has to be strong, a cigar with power. The Macanudo 1968 is a big cigar but hasn't so much power.

It is a balanced cigar with a great draw but the power, the strengh was missing.

Cain Daytona Straight Jalapa Ligero 660 - my thoughts

My thoughts about the "Cain Daytona Staight Jalapa Ligero 660"

An absolutely fantastic cigar. I loved it right from the beginning. I really appreciate the size of this cigar. 6 inches / 152 mm long and the ring gauge of 60 / 25mm. The draw was from the beginning perfect and the ash wonderful. It's a really great cigar.

The taste was good. Well balanced and not to strong. I can recommend this cigar to everybody. Especially the one, who love big cigars.

Meine Gedanke zur "Cain Daytona Staight Jalapa Ligero 660"

Eine grossartige Zigarre. Ich liebe die Grösse dieser "Cain Daytona Staight Jalapa Ligero 660". 660 beschreibt ja die Grösse der Zigarre. Die erste 6 steht für die Länge der Zigarre. Sprich hier wären das 6 Inches was bei dieser Zigarre 152mm wären. Die 60 steht für das Ringmass der Zigarre. Bei der "Cain Daytona Staight Jalapa Ligero 660" wären das dann mal schöne 25mm Dicke.

Die "Cain Daytona Staight Jalapa Ligero 660" hat einen wunderbaren Zug, brennt wunderbar und die Asche hält enorm lange. Die "Cain Daytona Staight Jalapa Ligero 660" hat eine mittlere Stärke ist aber extrem ausgewogen. Was noch spannend ist, diese Zigarre schmeckt man am darauf folgenden Tag kaum mehr. Es gibt Zigarren, bei denen hat man am nächsten Tag einen sehr unangenehmen Nachgeschmack im Mund. Nicht bei der "Cain Daytona Staight Jalapa Ligero 660". Was für mich ein weiterer Pluspunkt ist.

Macanudo Maduro Prince Philip - my thoughts

Two weeks ago, I tried a "Macanudo Maduro Prince Philip". We had to celebrate and we had to honor a person who died 5 years a go.

At first I was a little bit disappointed of this cigar. The draw wasn't good. But it was getting better after half way through the cigar. But I have to say, the ash was perfect, right from the beginning.

The "Macanudo Maduro Prince Philip" is a well balanced cigar and I liked the spicy notes. With the "Macanudo Maduro Prince Philip" I enjoyed a 10 years old Talisker Scotch. This two components didn' go together so well. The Whisky was to smoky for this cigar. Maybe a smooth Macallen Scotch would go much better. I have to try this sometimes.
